Thanks all! I'm worried I'm not fit enough! Running has been an issue as I pulled a ligament in my knee which is recovering steadily. Just hope I can make it through eekk!!!

Signed up for my first one this august in Yorkshire feelings are ranging from absolute fear to excitement. Going as part of a team but dreading the running part however

cut out carbs, lower sugar, too much fruit can be bad and increase protein. My combat instructor says it's all about what you eat to get rid of tummy fat and tone it not exercise, exercise will help that but inevitably it's the food we eat
-
feel free to add me, type 2 and taken my bloods from over 15 to average of 4.5 thanks to MFP and exercise x It can be done without resorting to surgery x

2171 bad week stress = eating rubbish

lol for me it would be epic fail I'd fly off the end of the treadmill. There's a guy at our gym who is the same but he has a book which he holds whilst running or on the bike and another lady who must have it set to read to her as she has headphones on very odd if you ask me I like my hour of techno free time, don't even…

you look lovely x the last few pounds are always the worse but then look at how far you have come x
-
 hit 40 last year
-
depends on who's theory you go by, it has been proved medically your body can settle at a healthy weight, emotional and psychological factors can push you to go too far and cause eating disorders tho
-
well said!! I'm hitting a plateau only 2lbs to goal and at first I was gutted but in reality I have come one hell of a long way 103lbs loss to be exact, so I think stressing over 2lbs is really not worth it :@)
-
go with HRM however nothing is 100%, and 680 cals is not a bad burn remember your muscles keep burning cals for up to 72 hrs after exercise especially if you use weights
-
Huge congrats I have just had the same with my diabetes. It works they tell us but we really need to listen there are no easy options but look at us now !! Huge well done on an amazing achievement
-
Nothing cause I allow myself everything IN MODERATION!!! and I do NOT miss the old me, see this profile pic, me 3 years ago, I miss the years I wasted being fat and unfit
-
Yep have to agree with this, but maybe up the strength to help tone and build muscle.

me too  well done

A good surgeon? no seriously it takes time, patience and strength training. This is my problem area and it's the last thing to sort for me but seems to be taking ages. Sadly for me I think as I have lost a lot of weight the old Jess Ennis tum is now a dream but it's going down. Try cutting back on carbs (the bad ones white…

from a 50E to a 38/40 C/D depending on where I buy the bra from fab being able to buy off the peg, not so fab is untamed they look like deflated balloons lol but hey I'd rather that than be 104lbs heavier again
-
all of the above try weights and focus on toning and you'll shape up. I have lost over 100lbs so far, I'm 5ft 6 and would be very happy at 148lbs currently I'm at 175lbs and aiming for 165lbs as my ideal. It's hard when you carry the weight around your middle I do and that is where it's worst but it's getting there with…

you look stunning x

READ THIS 1200 cals is not good long term x

I have injured (pulled) the ligament in my knee and that was in April still trying to get over it. :@( stopped me from running and all thanks to an aerobics class. I am going back to my 1st weights class tonight. I'd say be aware of the pain and avoid doing stuff that aggravates it. Knee's are a notorious weak spot…
