I used to suffer from massive depression. I moved a lot as i went to college and eventually uni. I ate horrible my first year of school and gained i think total 50lbs. on a petite 5'4 frame it was very evident. the weight gain did nothing to help my depression. In 2013 I got serious about weight loss. I went from 178 (…

You can do this!! i was once at this point and suffering massive depression in a new city where i knew no one. Motivation is a fickle thing, its hard to get but once you have it, it keeps coming! as most people have said just try substituting little things to get you going. Personally, I enjoy looking at fitness motivation…

^ my cousin makes bulletproof coffee on keto- adds coconut oil/butter. still creamy but high fat. I don't really know what to think of keto as shes focusing on only doing high fat, more so than protein, which imo, cant be good for organs.

Honestly, set two hours aside on a sunday and kick some meal prep butt. I very recently completed my uni degree, but I was a full time student in 6 classes working fulltime and juggling life but still managed to say bye to 20 lbs. In college, I packed on all my weight, I gained close to 50LBS! all because I was "to busy,…

First off- im so glad you beat cancers butt!!! I have a lot of friends around me who have cervical cancer and I can tell you the recovery isn't always easy. I was also told at 22 I would never be able to carry my own children, but for different reasons. it is a blow, but there are so many alternatives out there, you will…

I think for working out maybe you should look into HIIT style workouts as well (try youtube or google to get an idea), you mentioned time/family life balance getting in the way of working out. You enjoy food, now you just need to balance things differently. try eating things that will fill you in smaller meals, 6 a day…

I can relate. I'm 5'4 so the weight is def noticeable when I pack it on. I was always the bigger girl growing up, it bothered me. Flash forward to puberty and I got taller and grew out of it, than in high school I worked jobs on my feet all day 40+ hours a week and had the body I wanted. Three years ago, I went to college…

You want one with a chest strap, really the only way to track it properly. My personal favorite is the Polar FT4, theres an FT6 but a lot of extra features not what I need it for. Its pricey as most are but if you hit amazon on a sale day *ahem black Friday/cyber Monday* youll get a decent deal :)

amazing transformation :) congratulations!!! you look beautiful and much happier

Actually my start is similar to yours, my start weight was 162 lbs at 5'3 in feb. worked hard and got down to 155 and than bam nothing worked for me it was strange, realized my cals were to high and cut down to about 1300 However I recently stalled at 143-145 it would simply not budge. Turns out I really wasn't netting…
