We have a lot of people that come into the bar and will order vodka with water/soda water and then flavor it with drink drops. I think it's pretty yummy, if you aren't against flavored water. Dragonberry (strawberry) Rum (about 70cals per 1oz) + diet sprite/7up + a splash of cranberry for color. That's a good, generally…

I use the fitbit zip to log it. I often work as a bartender multiple 14 hour shifts during the weekend, so my weekend activity level is sooooo much different from my weekday. The tracker is so much better at keeping up with that than changing MFP estimates.

Thank you! Cool, that's pretty close to my 'guesstimate' (I've been marking it as 100 and eating back none of that 100 haha). I'm really enjoying it, as someone who is intimidated by working out, it's been a great gateway video for me so far. Figure I'll roll into 30 Day Shred (which I found still a little to intense for…

"I posted an entry with a pretty judgement stance on a public forum, I can't believe people have the audacity to reply! This is my opinion; no one asked to hear yours!" ...seriously?

Yeah, I'm already healthy and in good health. And now I want to be thin. I have a job where being little will make me more money (call it shallow but it's how I support my family), I wanna look good in a wider majority of clothes--and without clothes *saucy eyebrow wiggles* Guess I won't be the poster girl for changing…

Hi everyone! Back to MFP after a long break and trying to get myself involved again :) I'm 33, live in Columbus, OH USA where I bartend for a living. I'm a huge collector of all things Dragon Age/Mass Effect (seriously, my entire living room is a really expensive shrine, haha), but I also love Bethesda games…

Sure thing, looks like he knows a bit more about this than I do :)

I do! I'm coming back after a very long hiatus and most of the friends I had before have moved on. I find it hard to stay motivated without the social aspect to this, so feel free to add me please!

I'm around 1800 and have a public diary for the past week or so. I mostly just do like, 300-400 calorie breakfast and lunch, then a snack at about 200 calories, then a massive dinner (I like to save calories in case I want to go out to eat or order in for dinner, my 'funner' calories haha), then save 150-200 calories for…

Level 2, Day 3 done. It's finally getting more tolerable haha. I didn't want to die after the workout but I'm not so sure I'm doing 'good' at it yet. One of my knees feels a bit funny; not in pain, just weird, so I'll have to watch that.

I haven't read all the comments yet, but. I eat about three lean cuisine meals a week: Two of the microwave meals and one of the salad additions thing. I have one for lunch on each of my three work days because it's fast (I have zero time to make something and on the real, I don't feel like pre-making meals to heat up…

Level 2, Day 2 done. I GUESS it was a little easier than day 1. I was feeling pretty good for the first two rounds, I think I had to do a few 5 second breaks, but good other wise. Did the strength in 3 with some issue and then it just was a mess after that hahaha. But a little better.
-
Welp, Level 2, Day 1 done. Uhg. I was okay for the first two levels. I mean I had to stop a lot and modify some of the floor stomping stuff because of shin splints, but I was doing okay. Everything just fell apart during level 3 though haha, I was a mess. Ah well, I did it all and I have 9 days to improve, I guess.

Day 10 and Level 1 DONE. I don't really feel like I've 'mastered' Level 1, but I'll move on to Level 2 anyway. I still have to stop short on one or two of the strength training workouts and STILL can't do a correct push up haha. Ah well, maybe next round :)

I'm a bit behind everyone due to a hectic weekend work schedule. Scale says I've lost five pounds and I actually saw a friend I hadn't seen in a few months, who left me a post later on, on my FB wall, that she thought I looked a bit smaller, so that was super motivational! I'm not measuring myself and I don't think I look…

Level 1,Day 9 DONE. I'm a bit behind. I had to bartend a double shift Friday and Saturday and then just spent Sunday being absolutely beat. I did stay under my calorie goals both day though! So not a total loss.
-
Well, I missed Friday and Saturday due to working doubles both day, time to get back on the horse again today. However, today is the first time since I've started 30DS that I've weighed myself (I'm ten days in) and I've lost 5 pounds. Seems a lot in 10 days, but I did drastically change my food intake and activity level…

140 to 135.4, so-- 5/19: 5 pounds lost. Sort of surprised I lost that much just in one week, so I'm guessing I was either super retaining water last Sunday or am super dehydrated today haha. Either way, I'll take it.
-
Day 8, Level 1 done. I'm sweating like crazy today. I can feel my shin splints want to start up, so I've been substituting the butt kicks with high leg/arm marching. I'd rather lose a little extra burn than have that shin pain. I still have to take a break during the side lunges and the end of those forward squats with…

Dunno if I have any results or not? I don't have a tape measure, guess I should see if I can pick one up at the Walmart nearby. My scale seems to fluctuate even through the day within 5 pounds haha. I FEEL more energetic, I think, and I don't have any ANTI-results, so I'm sticking with it.
-
Day 7, Level 1 Done. It's going ok! Still don't know if I'll fully be able to finish some of the workouts by the time level 2 comes. Friday I will be taking a day off because I have to do a double at work which leaves virtually no time to work out, plus I need that energy to stay awake for 15 hours haha.
-
Hey everyone! I just re-started MFP almost two weeks ago, trying to lose just 10-15 pounds. I worked out for half a week and then first weighed myself on the 12th, I'm at 140 right now so.... I guess this upcoming Sunday will be my first real 'any progress?' weigh in! Good luck!
-
I have this issue--I have two kids and work at a bar double shifts on the weekend. So I will be up from like 9am Friday until 6am Saturday--a VERY long span of time, and I can only hope being active for twenty one hours burns off the bit of extra calories I usually go over by haha. I like some of the ideas I've read here…

Wow, looking amazing, great job! Is that JUST 30DS and diet, or are you doing other work outs too? Today I will be finishing Level 1 and while I'm not sure if I look different at all (though I am a bit smaller to begin with), I certainly FEEL better! Wow, you're doing great :)
