I am a new user of Vivofit. Have it for a week and have been able to average above 10K steps per day. Haven't synced it with the HRM yet.

I had major slipped discs on L4,L5 about 15 years ago when I could barely get up and walk. For me Yoga for back strengthening helped. These are specific yoga postures to help the back. Any forward bending poses would aggravate it. Please google or check the youtube if you are interested.

I usually carry a book with me and use this downtime to read. As one of the poster above commented, oil change place have one thing in common - boring television and bad coffee! TV I can avoid, but I sometimes give into craving and have the coffee.

I wash my sneakers with hand. I wash them first under running water to remove dirt and grime and then dunk them in a bucket of soap water. Then I take them out and brush them with a plastic brush and then wash them under running water. I always air dry them with the tongue hanging out. If the laces are white, I do the sameβ¦
