well...there's really no such thing as "toning" per se. While what you're doing is ok...got a little cardio in there and all....if you really want to change things up, you need to start lifting. Lifting heavy will change your muscles in the way you seem to want. Good luck!

this. listen to Sidesteel. Wise man.

this. Eat a variety of decent food, but have a treat now and then, you aren't being punished. Eat well, but not too much. Move more. Log what you eat and what you do, honestly. Don't be in a hurry to get rid of the weight....it didn't come over night, it won't go over night. Eat "clean" if you want to, eat "vegan" if you…

hang in there...yes, that is really annoying. But really...maybe he really is concerned that you are unwell, and just not saying it very well. Yes, I know...you're not anorexic. But you've made some pretty major changes, and folks aren't used to seeing you this way. Plus...people are so used to seeing us (everyone us)…

Don't worry too much about the sugar in fruit..just keep in mind that fruit is fairly calorie dense. Yes, log olive oil. A tablespoon is over 100 calories. Its healthy fat, so do use it! Again...calorie dense. Just keep logging all your food, brutally honestly. For your exercise, a HRM would be a good idea for you. Or some…

grammar and spelling. can't figure out the question. moving on.

if you like cereal for dinner....eat cereal for dinner. Stay within your macros...make sure you're getting enough nutrient rich foods, but eat what you enjoy eating. Silly question.
-
did you input your stats into the MFP program? It will give you a good ballpark to aim at.
-
Patience, persistance, and being kind and forgiving to yourself. Eat good tasty food, and kick a little *kitten* in the gym. All things in moderation.
-
not my absolute favorite films...but near the top of my list. I re read the books every few years too...get something new out of them each time.
-
Singin' in the Rain. Or at the holidays....White Christmas. perfect musicals. perfect casts.
-
if it fits your macros...eat Dairy Queen! or Culver's. Or Baskin Robbins. or god help up...Five Guys burgers. I do!
-
omnivore here. whatever floats your fishing boat....

1200 calories is very low for a guy. input your stats into the program again...I think something may be off here. Although...looking at what you just said....why do you want to lose any more weight? That won't get rid of poochy stomach...exercise will do that. IF anything, you probably need to gain a little.

high in calories for a snack, but I guess they'd be a good on the go meal replacer. And they do taste good.
-
1360 sounds about right. try it for a while and see how it goes.
-
My goal is 158...if I settle out slightly lower thats ok, but no lower than 155...I would just be too skinny.
-
I like the Fiber One brownies....not as good as a real fudgy brownie, but pretty tasty anyway. And I agree about Skinny Cow sandwiches...yum. I would eat those even if I wasn't watching calories, they just taste good.
-
Amen.
-
I do eat them back...because I understand how MFP works. And if I could "eat when I'm hungry"....I wouldn't have been so overweight to begin with, and wouldn't need to be here at all.
-
this isn't starvation mode. something else is going on here. "starvation mode" is from seriously undereating for a prolonged period of time, causing your metabolism to slow down, and your body to begin using muscles to try to keep itself alive. It doesn't happen overnight. Or even in a month. Its how the body tries to save…

probably.

sure...things like that are a useful tool...OCCASIONALLY. Better to eat real, fresh food than processed frozen stuff, but it won't hurt you to use them on busy days or whatever. I've never been impressed with the flavor of most of them. (although the Lean Cuisine mushroom pizza isn't bad at all.....)

PB2 basically IS peanut flour. And it doesn't have any added sugar.
-
for some things PB2 is terrific. I add it to smoothies or oatmeal and its great. Just mixed with water by itself...not so much. And thats ok. Everything I've ever tried from Walden's....was horrible.
-
wrong. so not true. there are no negative calorie foods. dream on.
-
you need fats...they are good for you in reasonable amounts...essential for a healthy body. Besides...all those "low fat" foods....mostly make up the missing bulk with sugar, which IS bad for you. Maybe a consult with a dietician would be a good idea for you, to get a little coaching on good nutrition. You can do…

my goal height? about three inches taller than I am now. Then my goal weight would have already happened!
