A few questions...

Hey guys! I just wanted some advice. Today I have started doing the 30 day shred, well 90 day shred. I want to get the most out of my workout through diet. This is my second attempt at getting healthy and the first time I done this I didn't change my eating habits just counting my calories. I had great success inches wise but not weight wise. I want a sustainable eating plan, one that even when life throws a curve ball like the first time, I would have established a plan that I can stick to. I would like some advice on creating a eating plan. I am 19 5'4 and 178.

There are so many options and so many different variable to really dial in on what you need to eat. If you want to lose weight lower carbs, increase protein and get healthy fats. Calculate your TDEE and subtract 500 from that number.
use this

Katch-McCardle is the most accurate but you need your BF%
Harris-Benedict is the most inaccurate
Mifflin-St Jeor is the best choice if you dont know your BF%
this gives you an idea of how to break your diet down

Calories in/calories out. Set a budget, stay within it and weight will come off. You'll feel better eating good food but you can lose weight living on junk food as long as you stay in budget. You don't need a specific food plan to follow.0

this. Eat a variety of decent food, but have a treat now and then, you aren't being punished. Eat well, but not too much. Move more. Log what you eat and what you do, honestly. Don't be in a hurry to get rid of the weight....it didn't come over night, it won't go over night. Eat "clean" if you want to, eat "vegan" if you want to, eat "paleo" if you want to...but you don't have to follow any particular plan to be successful. Or healthy.0
