Try to refocus the diappointment into motivation. As others have said losing weight is a marathon not a sprint. Do not get down on yourself take pride in what you have already accomplished. My experience is that the hardcore guys are the nicest in the gym. Someone who is there latenight is there because they are dedicated and focused. But they also respect others who are working out and are usually more than willing to help.

I would not eat them back always but if you have met your calorie goal for the day and you are still hungry you can use some of them to reward yourself.
