  • For me, as I have been trying to get pregnant with baby #3 for over a year - my goal was to lose it all before getting pregnant. I did feel the need to get as far ahead as possible so that I would have "less" to work with during and after pregnancy. That's pretty much been my personal train of thought on that. I did lose…
  • Hard boiled eggs or whole almonds. I don't late night snack very often, but I try to avoid carbs/sugar and find something with protein and good fats. :o)
  • I am by no means a perfect clean eater, but that is by choice as I have made a few "allowances" for myself each day. Anyway, I consume oatmeal almost daily as one of my "allowances" -- from plain quick oats to organic instant oatmeal. Literally almost daily, sometimes twice a day. If it isn't oatmeal, then it's something…
  • Almost forget to weigh in! Down .4 lbs this week. Down 19.8 lbs total. Was hoping to be down a little more this week, but it has been that "lady time" for me and I've increased my fitness in new ways, so I could be holding onto more water right now. It'll eventually even out and drop again. Anybody else? :-)
  • Measure your BPM, calculate calories burned and custom add it with the minutes you've completed and the number of calories you've burned. Works for me :)

  • Down 1.2 lbs this week. 18.2 total, 16.2 since January :-)
  • Wow. As a MOM, I am offended for the OP from some of the responses on here that I consider attacks, unfair judgement, inconsiderate and ignorant. It's not like me to respond to such negativity or to even give those who are unworthy to me a single thought. . .nor do I care to step down a few maturity levels to meet someone…
  • Is it possible to go to a gym early in the morning, or at another time of day, where there have a kids club to watch your little ones for an hour? My kids are older now, but I do remember the challenges of working out when they were much smaller. I feel for you.
  • Haha, you're sweet! In fact, I could ask you the same! Terrific photo! =)

  • Oh, and I weigh daily in the morning. It helps keep me in check this way :)
  • Hi! I'm Jennifer. I don't know if I can lose a total of 30 by June 21st. Or, maybe I can. We shall see. I'm 14 lbs away from my 30 lb weight loss goal, so I suppose it isn't impossible :) I re-started my weight loss in the second week of January this year and I am down 16 lbs. Best of luck you all!

  • Providing helpful and constructive advice/input/opinions is one thing. Using a "tone" like a jerk when responding and/or using backlash, judgement, any kind of form of bullying or to make the OP feel bad. . .is wrong. And just because there are people who want to reply with a firm and "helpful" response, it doesn't mean…
  • I'd also cut back on the sodium intake and try hard to stay within your daily sodium goal. Too much sodium can cause your body to hold onto water weight longer. Congrats on the 66!
  • A new wardrobe, two piece swimsuits, a healthier ME!
  • You could also use romain lettuce. My favorite green is baby spinach and I use about 2-3 cups. There's so many recipes out there and it also takes some experimenting, but my most favorite green smoothie is 2-3 cups baby spinach, 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, water, 4-6 oz fresh frozen pineapple, 3/4-1 cup frozen…
  • There was SO much I was going to say as I began typing, but instead - simply decided on this: SMH :noway:
  • And oh, I am very sorry your for loss.
  • Excellent!^ When I do this, I immediately get back into the routine - pushing even MORE fluids than usual to help cleanse away the added weight. It's really important to quickly get back into the healthier routine you were in. Most of us go through this and then we need to ask ourselves, "What will I gain (literally) if I…
  • Definitely try to avoid pre-packaged foods as much as possible, prepare more fresh foods naturally low in sodium more often and do not add salt. Do these things, especially on a 1200 calorie diet. Push more water in addition to this and you'll see less fluctuations and a faster drop in weight. Good luck!
  • Oh yes -- religiously! Several times a day, lol. I'm here if you'd like to add me :o)
  • Feel free to add me, too. I have two kiddos - ages 8 and 11 and trying hard to have a third. . .doing my best to lose weight before another hopeful pregnancy and remain in a fit routine during the pregnancy. Fingers crossed! :o)
  • You or anyone else are welcome to add me. Such great support going around -- I love it!!
  • I would normally say it is probably best to log in gains, as you want to keep yourself in check and not live in any form of denial. However, last Sat night I went overload in high sodium foods and put on an instant 5 lbs over night. I KNEW that this was instant sodium/water weight since I have been through this many times…
  • 5 large scrambled egg white with 3 tbsp of fresh-like salsa. I usually pair that with a fruit, but decided on low-fat yogurt with organic chia seeds mixed in this morning. 295 cals. Felt good!
  • Definitely prepare your own food and avoid pre-packaged foods as much as possible. Low-sodium, High-protein foods: http://www.livestrong.com/article/300434-low-sodium-high-protein-foods/ However, our bodies DO need sodium, but not too much -- and here's why:…
  • There's not a lot of variety in my breakfasts, but I do alternate and don't get bored. Typically, things I may have in the mornings are oatmeal with chia seeds or extra virgin coconut oil, a banana or apple, yogurt, scrambled egg whites with fresh-like salsa and green smoothies. I usually pair two or three items together,…
