  • For those people who think that losing weight fast is a good goal, get real -- it leads to the yoyo weight gain so many of us lived with for years. No more for me, I eat my exercise calories (for the most part) and am happy to lose a little at a time while I turn the rest into lean muscle.

  • Counting calories here. I usually go over on protein but not by much. I believe my drastic increase in physical activity allowed me to lose 11lbs in my first 14 days. I still could eat a bit more healthy. Hope everyone gets to their goals this year!

  • Eat a little more by adding color to your diet with vegetables -- green, red, yellow, purple (beans, asparagus, bell peppers, spinach, ...). Have fun in Europe.
  • Love to ride. My husband and I have three bikes -- his, hers, and ours. We got ours this year because I couldn't ride mine much due to medical issues. Finally feeling better but bigger and need to drop some lbs!
