  • Amy's Bowls. You can find them in the frozen food section. LOVE the flavor, too. :-D
  • Completely AWESOME! Well done!
  • I quit on QuitNet with a lot of support from others who were doing the same. I haven't logged in to that site in ages, so I logged in just to see my stats: Time Smoke-Free: 2408 days, 20 hours, 39 minutes and 45 seconds Cigarettes NOT smoked: 26497 Lifetime Saved: 6 months, 22 days, 9 hours Money Saved: $7,287.22 Totally…
  • Someone I love very dearly went into a diner and sat at the counter, three stools away from a female patron who was very pretty and shapely. She stopped eating, put down her fork, and looked at him like he had just done something unspeakable in her plate. Then she said "You repulse me. Just the very sight of you makes me…
  • And if I wear my HRM doing an activity I don't necessarily wish to advertise, so I choose to log it as walking my dog, should I be ashamed of myself and crawl in a hole somewhere? Don't worry about other people - log what you log, eat back what you think is right, and leave others to learn their own lessons. If I come to…
  • Coldstone Creamery - Founder's Favorite. mmmmmMMMMMmmmmmm!
  • I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier - I just found out that I'm at 13.0 on Vitamin D... I'm going to pick up my industrial strength supplements (dr. prescribed). I hope I can get my levels up to 50 - we'll see. He also told me the low end of normal is 30. Stay tuned!
  • This. Add a little protein powder, and it's actually healthy - but it tastes like ice cream. For a real treat - measure exactly 1/4 cup of Breyers sugar-free 1/2 the fat ice cream and blend it in with the banana and protein powder. You only add 50 calories and it is SOOOO yummy. Of course, top with fresh fruit.…
  • Here's the best head shot I've ever taken. Unfortunately, it's a headshot of my Schnauzer.
  • True - no matter how hard I hurt afterward. PBM has at least two pets
  • You look like what I hope to look like in 2 months. :-P Seriously, you look like you work out and take no Sh*** from anybody. You also look like you either used to play a lot of sports, or maybe you work with horses alot or something... but that's because you remind me of somebody I worked with when I worked with horses.…
  • Color me jealous - or, in the words of Napoleon Dynamite... ... ... ...:LuckEEEEEEEEEE"
  • Failure is when you quit trying. Don't quit trying. Get back on that horse and ride! :flowerforyou:
  • Love the quote and look at you - WOW how far you've come on your journey! That is 100% motivating! Stay proud and strong and keep up the great work - you are absolutely worth it - and you're a champion through and through! :flowerforyou:

  • Chick-Fil-A chicken strips - no sauce, no waffle fries, no nothing else - just the strips.
  • Hi Sue. I've celebrated the 27th anniversary of my 29th birthday - and I happen to have been born in Missouri, also. :-) Add me if you like! :flowerforyou:
  • It's marvelous with chunks of avocado, a little onion powder, and a sprinkle of salt. I use 1/3 cup in my whey protein and frozen banana smoothie every morning for the added protein, as well. I like the Alta Dena 0% milkfat a great deal. :flowerforyou: Edited to add that the first part - with the avocado - is meant to be…
  • Brilliant, Captain! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  • Yes Ma'am you can see a decided difference! Keep up the hard work and be proud of yourself! :flowerforyou:
  • I echo these suggestions, and would add that you can get Wii Active Sport for about $25 on Amazon. You will want some stronger resistance bands to go with it, but all-in-all you'll come in under $50 and have resistance bands that you can use for all kinds of workouts - Wii-based or not! :-D
  • Hey Kate! You live in the same town as my daughter! You will do very well to buy your foods raw and cook them yourself. Don't buy frozen meals, prepared meals, or fast food. There is a whole recipe forum here that gives some marvelous, fast, easy recipes to follow to help you eat healthy without taking in all that sodium.…
  • I *love* my Dymatize all natural. I get it from Vitacost. http://www.vitacost.com/dymatize-all-natural-elite-whey-protein-isolate I found my shake recipe here on MFP. Essentially, I mix 1 scoop protein, 1/3 cup cottage cheese, 1 teaspoon of some flavor of instant sugar-free fat-free pudding, 1 cup of water and 1 banana…

  • What a great success story! Yes, that is reason to celebrate - hold your head up and be very proud of yourself. Well done!
  • Right - and I wonder if anybody IS doing any serious studies - which is why I posted the article link. Does anybody have any knowledge of a serious study looking at these things? Just curious!
  • I have a diet Dr. Pepper once in a blue moon, but about 8 months ago I pretty much got rid of all my Splenda and Equal. I found a Stevia product that didn't leave a bad aftertaste in my mouth, and I've used that in my coffee ever since I found it. I do eat half a cup of Breyer's no sugar added ice cream with half the fat…
  • Anyone?
  • You can view my diary if you want. I try to get 140 + grams of protein a day. :flowerforyou:
