Helps a ton, Kelly! Thank you! Answered my question exactly. Yes, using fitbit blaze to calulate. Of course, it is different every day depending on workouts and rest days. I started off with these numbers/percentages before I started using the fitbit. Guess I'll be doing some recalculations. Thanks!

30% would be 173 grams. I chose 180 based on my mini goals from the workshop.
-
The 180 grams is not 30%. It's slightly higher.

Exactly what mrsmknitta said! I'm already eating 2100 calories at 15% cut of my TDEE. I workout 6 days a week and do not "eat back" my exercise calories. For example: I log my workouts in MFP as "1 calorie burned for 25 min of T25 Cardio 2.0" or something similar. The calories Fitbit gives me are usually less than 200 per…

WOW!! That's great! Very inspirational :) And you are so stinking cute with that trophy! Way to go!

Also I tried the mashed bananas and eggs this morning. I was making pancakes for my kids and wanted to feel like I was eating pancakes too :-) they were very good! I'll do them again for sure

I second oatmeal!! I mix my egg whites directly into my oats on the stove

I also like fitness blender. BodyRock.Tv is my favorite. Good luck!

I had a similar experience. My fitbit logged my hiit workout as 100 calories burned while MFP estimated closer to 250... wasn't sure what to do either??
-
Ha! I did just that - logged as calisthenics. Thanks!

50 seconds work + 10 seconds rest for 10 exercises. 2 rounds. All plyo/body weight stuff - lunge jumps, star jumps, burpees, mountain climbers, etc.

By the way, I have been slowly changing my lifestyle (exercise and diet) over the past 6 years & have lost 100 pounds. I use to ask my husband to make changes, but he interpreted my "communication and concern" as nagging (ha!), so I stopped asking and just focused on myself. He has recently started walking on the treadmill…

I have the exact same issue. My husband loves to snack and he doesn't like many veggies - just canned green beans, potatoes, corn, and sweet potatoes... I do most of the grocery shopping & find it helpful to only buy him snacks that don't tempt me. He loves chips, a specific brand of crackers, and fruit snacks. Those do…

I just looked this site up and it is awesome! Thanks :)

so, i googled it and found that "boot camp" can also be called "circuit training" which is listed as an exercise. thanks.
-
well, that is a neat tool!!! i have one question though... i do a boot camp class that is a mix of high-level cardio/strength training intervals, but there are no listings for that type of exercise. what would you do??? how would you calculate that?
-
That's awesome! I just joined yesterday. I'm Lissa. Hi
-
I joined a local gym for just $20 a month. It offers classes and also has cardio/weight machines. I usually do a class (either a boot camp, inner strength, yoga/pilates, or muscle pump), and then I do 30 min of cardio - either walking, jacob's ladder, or sprints. I had a trainer tell me that when you work out you should…
