Any ideas on how to estimate a HIIT workout? Thanks in advance :-)

A HRM is pretty useless for HIIT - your HR is still elevated during the recovery phases and you will get an inflated figure.
OP - what kind of HIIT workout? Doing what and for how long?

50 seconds work + 10 seconds rest for 10 exercises. 2 rounds. All plyo/body weight stuff - lunge jumps, star jumps, burpees, mountain climbers, etc.0

Suggest you log it as calisthenics or circuit training. There's no way of getting an accurate number so not worth sweating over it too much (no pun intended!).
A rough ball-park figure might be to plug in how far you could run for 20 minutes into a running calorie calculator.0 -
