  • I understand that we should be eating back our exercise calories. However, I think that Malular brought a valid point so then what is the advantage/point exercising? Is it so that our metabolism speeds up? I guess my question is am I going to loose more weight by exercising and eating back the calories than not exercising…
  • I wasn't losing anything either eating little (1500 calories) than I increased my calorie intake to 2800 and now I'm losing. I eat my BMR +30% since I exercise 3-5 times per week. I try to NET at least my BMR. But I'm a pretty big guy 6'4 362 pounds now. Seems to be working. Only my second week tho but it got me unstuck.

  • Oh my God I would pass out if I had 10 shots of anything, probably by the 4th shot. A bottle of wine or two for that matter is much healthier than 10 shots of vodka in my book.
  • Thank you very much for the info. I have changed the values in MFP. Now I need to think of ways to increase my calorie intake without multiplying my daily sodium intake which exceeds the 2500 already :)

  • I didn't know that I was suppose to eat the exercise calories. Although, I have been eating almost all of my allowed calories :) I have changed my diary setting to public.
  • Wow I can't believe that I forgot to mention that. I have been diagnosed with Herniated disc on my neck. So you're probably right the pain is probably from that. But it kind of makes it hard to exercise. I have to do it in short 5 minute sets. 5 min exercise then rest until pain goes away usually 5-10 minutes or so. Thanks…
