  • Hi, I've found that jogging helps. I get lethargic and headaches too and just getting out in the fresh air even if its just a short jog or even just a walk really helps... I will admit I avoid doing heavy squats like the plague during TOM. Never had any *accidents* yet but I just know that if its going to happen then…
  • Thanks everyone! Shame MFP didnt notify me when you all actually replied! I managed to swindle a second free hour session and officially start my on ramp tomorrow night (was supposed to be last night but baby was ill). Cant wait!! xx
  • Hiya. I'll be honest BMR and TDEE always confuse me. When I was breastfeeding I used to add it as a food (theres loads of options in the food database) and it would add the extra calories for me. so at the time I was eating approx 1600 cals, then an extra 500 to account for breastfeeding. Does that help at all? I think I'm…
  • yup lightly active here too. I have a 3 year old boy and a 1 year old girl (walking). If Im not playing, chasing, refereeing, protecting one from the other, cleaning up their messes etc., I'm trying to clean/tidy the house or cook or run errands... certainly dont have much time to sit down and be sedentary lol.
  • I love wearing pigtails! My hairs a little shorter at the min so they stick out like a toddler. And its always my festival go-to hair-do.
  • What about those John West Tuna salads? I guess you could also use "picnic" style foods e.g. mini scotch eggs, cocktail sausages, seafood sticks, as long as you counted the calories in them carefully. I know you said no to hot foods but the Uncle Bens Rice pots are nice too. xx
  • Iv recently been using sci mx diet shake £20 for a 1kg tub from ASDA. My local only seems to do chocolate flavour and it kind of tastes like chocolate cake mix. I looked at Tesco and Holland and Barrett and their shakes are just too expensive for my pocket right now. But am interested to see what other people drink xx
  • I usually weigh myself on a Monday, and out of habit did this monday gone - was really disappointed that I hadnt lost BUT then remembered that I was changing my weigh day to Friday for this group so had a few more days to work at it :) Im currently doing Ripped in 30 and walk as much as I can and this week Iv slowly…
  • I tried them a couple of years ago and gotta be honest theyre a waste of money. If you notice they always have printed on the label that they work "as part of a balanced diet" and/or include something about exercising whilst taking them - thats because its the healthy eating and exercise thats getting rid of the weight. xx
  • Hello another Brit here. I'm from the lovely and sunny north east (sic) county durham - near newcastle :) x

  • I used them for a month when a "vibro gym" opened near where I live. We were told by the "trainer" all we had to do was stand for 20 mins. Fat load of use that did, it wasnt until I did a little bit of research and started to do squats, planks, pushups, twists etc on them that I noticed any change and that was just some…
  • I'm 5'6 and I'm aiming for 140. I'm 171 at the min (lovely baby weight). When I get there I can reevaluate and decide if I'm happy to maintain or i if i want to scrape a little more off. xx
  • That its automatically healthier because its home cooked - MIL. Yeah this might be the case when I am cooking but all that butter and salt you like to add and those portion sizes are NOT healthy.
  • while breastfeeding you would be better off trying to stick close to your target cals. Your baby NEEDS you to at least eat back those 500 cals lost through breastfeeding or it WILL affect your milk supply. My Health visitor could not stress this enough with me. While breastfeeding your main goal should be more about eating…
  • Hiya! Definitely try the 30 day shred. Its only 20-30 mins a day and its a really good starting point. Im currently on day 10 and lost 3 lbs and a couple of inches in my first week.
  • Iv been wondering the same thing but if genetics have a say then there might be hope... my mum lost a little bit of weight, toned up and she actually went up a size... and thats after breastfeeding 3 kids. I used to be a UK DD, went up to a UK E after my first baby and to a UK F after my most recent and id love too keep a…
  • Hiya, I have a 2 year old and a 14 week old. The 2 year old doesnt nap anymore and the 14 week old doesnt like to nap for very long during the day. My partner also works away during the week only coming home at weekend. The only routine iv found to work for me is to get up at 6 on a morning (kids dont get up til 7.30) and…
  • Hiya, My youngest is 14 weeks so im hoping to shift the baby weight too (that i gained 2 year ago with my oldest haha). Dont know if youve done it already but in the meals section when you search for foods breastfeeding is in there too, if you pick the option for you and then it will allocate you an extra 500 cals to your…
  • my inlaws who asked me to make an extravagant birthday cake for this saturday but arnt willing to help look after my little boy so i can bloody do it!!! *SMACK* always wanted too... myself for agreeing to make said cake *tushy smack*
  • haha i do this all the time.. and make everyone in the car be quiet too!!
  • if you lie on the floor with your legs and arms stretched out, thats pretty much how much space you need... for level 1 at least. Iv only got a tiny living room so i really hope i dont need too much more space :) x
  • I just started my shred today and plan to log it as circuit training until i can save enough pennies for a heart monitor... ... heehee and yeah i went for a short walk to the shop about 2 hours after... it damn near killed me!! :) xx
  • Hiya, my stomach and weight seemed to balloon after i stopped breastfeeding. I never had a flat stomach but my "podge" (lovingly nicknamed tangerine) never bothered me. Now im left with a deflated balloon and could easily pass for being 5 months pregnant. so i started wearing really baggy shapeless clothes to try and hide…
  • You look amazing!! well done!! I cant wait to get back into corsets, I love wearing them!! Again keep up the good work!!! XX
  • Hi hun, my boyfriends exactly the same. He works away all week and eats quite well when hes away, but when he comes home at the weekend he just wants junk. The easiest way iv found is just to eat the same thing (we cant afford to prepare 2 different meals) but i eat a smaller portion and add more veggies and i try to…
  • hope that worked... this was my first ever tattoo done in a single 5 hour stint on my birthday. i took in a photo and the girl free handed it onto my back adding her own flair. I absolutely love it!! For my next one im getting a decorative dove on the inside of my wrist for my little boy Jonah. Id also like a quote on my…
