The last comment you made is probably the most important! Make goals, long term and short term. Give yourself weekly goals, daily goals, whatever it takes to get the routine rolling. If you have a heart rate monitor, just enter the calories burned as cardio. That's what I do. It's hard to gauge strength training caloric burn do the EPOC effect.

Pefectly said! I am currently aspiring to be a certfied NASM CPT, and this is right on point. No trainer should be suggesting dietary planning and supplements unless they are also certified in nutrition as a registered dietician!!!

I was looking into a Vita-Mix when my Oster blender died, but the $300+ price tag was out of reach. So I purchased a Ninja Professional 1000 watt blender for $99 at Target. This is an amazing blender, and much cheaper than the Vita-mix.

This is true. I just bought a garmin HRM and the difference is huge! My stationary bike tells me I burn 1300-1500 calories per hour, my HRM is about 800-900 per hour. The HRM is the way to go...
