  • Yes I am expecting all the bad reviews. I really just want info on it. I haven't tried it, I know its not a nutritional supplement more of a 'helper'. I have heard that it can give you the jittery feeling so I was curious if that has happened to anyone. Thanks for the responses!

  • This is what has helped me so far, and I get bad cravings too around that time of the month! -I make it a must to workout in the morning that way its done and I feel 'healthier' all day and want to be good. -Have your food diary open to at least your friends so they keep you accountable. I don't want to cry about not…
  • Thank you all for your opinions! Some great points were brought up. I was just curious what others were thinking about juicers, not setting out to get one. I make smoothies currently and enjoy those but wasn't sure if I wanted to juice instead. I have heard rave reviews about the Ninja blender and am hoping to get one…
  • I LOVE Insanity! It has enough change in it that I don't remember what the next move is, I have burned anywhere from 500 to 800 calories in one session, and have seen major improvement in my whole body. It is an intense workout so I recommend starting out with something else and getting yourself to where you can handle…

  • I did slim in 6 with some improvements. My arms were more toned, my stomach tightened and my butt lifted! I used it as a restart program because I hadn't exercised in so long. I then moved on to Insanity to get more results. I really enjoyed Slim in 6 and plan on using it when I am down to maintaining and need to change it…

  • I would love more friends also! feel free to add me! I log daily and am determined!!!!
  • I agree with needing to get a HRM. I purchased a HRM with chest strap to get a more accurate result and also do insanity. I usually burn anywhere from 450 to 700 calories per workout.
  • I don't have any pictures yet but was hoping my small accomplishments would help you. I am 3 weeks into Insanity and so far I have lost 3 inches on my waist, went from doing 'girl' push ups to doing MAN pushups. I can do about 10 before I give out! lol My arms have amazing definition and I am starting to see lines on my…
  • Thank you for all the great ideas! I am excited to try the new shakes and protein peanut butter cups!!! Keep them coming!
  • I would love to join! I just started Insanity and would really like to have a support group to go along with this journey!
  • I also hardly ever eat meat. I get a lot of protein from whey shakes, quinoa, raw nut butters, beans, lentils, and barley. I feel the best when I stay away from meats but have found that I can eat tuna and salmon without feeling weighed down. Hope that helps!
  • I really like the Optimum Nutrition from GNC or Amazon. It tastes the best with a good amount of protein in it. I use it plain or add in fruit and veggies to make more of a meal replacement drink. You can mix it with milk or water and there isn't all the added crap in it.
  • Hmmm...I guess everything I have been told is different from this so now I am more confused..I was also under the impression that cardio helps you loose weight. I am only wearing HRM during cardio exercise so I am ok there.
  • You have an amazing story! I hope you will be able to inspire more young people to use the mean people of society to fuel themselves for the better!! Way to go!
  • Thank you for sharing your story! You are such a great example that I needed to see today! Congrats on your goal and good luck on the rest of your journey!
