I too had this conversation with my doctor :cry: it was scary and totally broadsided me. the day i left the office i felt like i had been hit by a truck! taking it all in stride i signed up with mfp and started eating right! i feel great and i know she will be happy when i come back in a month for another blood glucose…

if your posting a picture, you have to first save the picture to somewhere like photobucket. then copy the link and change the uppercase to LOWERCASE(<- very important wont work unless its lowercase) so it would look like make sense?

tummy and a ::little:: to the butt! and about the diabetes, i recently found out i was pre-diabetic , which the dr recommended this site and BOOYAH here i am, annnnnyyy who, yes lose the weight its much much easier at this point!!

very good point, to me a binge is just that, out of control eating untill you feel sick almost. eating smaller meals more frequently i think feels better too, especially if you have the opportunity to do so

This puts alot of foods in perspective too!! like 1 head of romaine lettus vs 4 hersey kisses!!

according to my calorie poster coffee(calorie free sweetener and no creamer) and calorie free tee are free drinks, i also would assume they count towards your water

Must mean you have a healthy metabolism paired with good choices! did they give you a calorie count to aim for? or tell you to eat more "fatty" or higher protein foods? seems odd to just "gain weight", id call back and see if they could give you more specifics

Some people just assume that if you have weight in your tummy that your pregnant, most of the time thats true but there are alot of women who carry their weight only in their midsection, Gal... ive had that happen to me alot even when i was in middle school its very discouraging and detrimental to your body image…

Oh to true, went to the doctors they asked when i was due, i must have turned like 4 diffrent shades of red cus they all turned the same color too... my repsonce "sorry not pregnant, i do have cats tho" then they all started talkin about thier cats too... helped the moment but mannnnnnnnn thats a turning point

as long as your getting all your fluids eating your exercises calories and are feeling good(not dizzy, dehydrated sick) id believe you will be ok, id ask around some more tho make sure you dont injure yourself

Im a snacker, so what i do is give myself more calories for snacks from my lunch and dinner, choosing healthier snacks and stopping a few hours before bed. like light yogurt, 100 calorie packs, rice cakes(which i actually really like) fresh fruits, veggies. just making sure i have some water around most of the time my…

Yeah, i called the doctor and she said that if its viral to be careful when working out because you can make it worse. that if i feel like doing light housework and or a light walk it will be ok, just nothing heavy (like 30 mins of cardio) Stupid colds putting a damper on my success!!

I have a terrible terrible chest cold ontop of asthma ive done all my medication for the asthma but im still really congested. Im drinking all my fluids and trying to stay rested. Part of me feels like i could do a work out, light work out like walking. Is it ok to exercise when you feel sick?

Im not a dietitian but that cant be healthy...... Id say stick to what works, and counting calories watching fat / sugar/ carb intake has to be a better HEALTHIER way to lose weight and keep it off because its a life style change not a "diet". thats my 2 cents.
