Do you run on a treadmill as well, or outside. I felt like I ran differently on a treadmill (and had trouble with vertigo).

I think any kind of movement and toning would be beneficial. look at yoga and pilates, very helpful but very low impact. Try it, I think you'd be better off if you did what you outlined above EVERY night, then fewer big workouts that you don't keep doing.

Have you looked into 'barefoot running'. You don't really have to go barefoot, but by wearing minimalist shoes, it helps retrain your body to the proper running form, and cuts down on injuries. I doubt it, most of them are just fishing for compliments. Although you can tell if they're sincere. MEASURE!!!! I do it every week and it really keeps me going. Last week I lost 1 lb, the week before I gained 1. But I've dropped 4 " off my waist, 3 off my hips, and 1 inch off my neck.
