I usually find a more secluded area of the gym to do these, but that was not an option today. The only available area was front and centre of the room, right in front of a big mirror. I moved through those sets as quick as I could.

I have a few. Tuna with avocado and salsa or Thai sauce Omelette with bacon and cheese Oatmeal with cheese, bacon, and an over easy egg Oatmeal/Greek yogurt with protein powder, fruit, cinnamon (sometimes I add some peanut butter) If I'm in a pinch or out of ideas, any one of these will satisfy me for breakfast or lunch.

It's definitely a preference. I'm taking one progress picture a month and taking measurements once every two weeks. It's a short enough span of time that I can remain motivated for making progress but also long enough that I can (hopefully) see a substantial amount of progress between each measurement or picture.

What is your workout? I think it's a personal decision based on your comfort level. I used to eat a huge dinner about an hour before going to Zumba. This made me feel bloated and lethargic during my workout. Since I've started eating lighter dinners on Zumba days, I've found myself to have way more energy during the class.…

May 17th, 2015 here! I don't have a specific number goal in mind, but I'm hoping that healthier eating habits will help me look and feel amazing in my dress!

Bumping so I can watch this later!

I lift 3-4 days per week. If I have time, I'll throw in about 10-15 minutes of cardio on a machine in after my workouts. If the weather is nice, I may go for a run on one of my non-lifting days. That's about it for me. I like sport cardio and I would love to join a hockey team right about now, but sadly there is no budget…

Thanks everyone. I'm currently doing 3x5 working sets with 2 warmup sets for squats. I'll likely drop the weight a bit next time, as per your suggestions. This helps a lot!

For push ups, I suggest working your way up to a full one. Start with wall push ups, push ups on your knees, etc. until you can do one with standard form. For sit ups, you should not be pulling your neck forward and straining your spine. I'm pretty sure you can modify these as well by starting with your legs straight on…

They both have awesome bodies, but my jaw dropped a little at the first picture. Beautiful.

Unintentional pun? :P On a serious note, stop worrying so much about what you didn't do and focus on what you can do now.

Bump!

Hmm... My first bench press was actually in high school and I can't remember the exact number but I think it was around 60-75 lbs. I remember my max was 80-85 by the end of the semester, though. Squat - started with the bar, but in my next workout I did 95 lbs once. Deadlift - started at 75 lbs I think, but same as squats,…

I was just thinking that too... That can't be right.
-
Seconded. I think I'm around 25%, but I definitely have more LBM than the body in that picture.
-
Ok, will do. Thanks for all the help!

I guess I averaged about 2400 over that entire period and was only at 25-2800 for the last month. According to what I tracked on here, I have 147.8lbs logged on November 27 and 149.4lbs on December 27, so just under 2 lbs in that time frame.

Thanks for getting back so soon. I figured as much about the food scale so I'll put it on my shopping list. I bulked for 12 weeks. A little more background.... After I gained the 11 pounds in the summer, I drove myself crazy with calorie counting and my binges were becoming more frequent. I stopped counting completely…

Please be honest, but don't be a total *kitten* about it either. He's been honest with me and I've honest with him about weight gain in the past. It's not necessarily about thinking the other person is fat or ugly. For us anyway, it was more about concern for the other person's well being and not wanting them to stray too…

This is me on New Years Eve. I can squat 110lbs for 3x4, and can deadlift 185 for 1x5. :)

You have to start somewhere. Maybe this week you'll be using 5lb weights, but if you're consistent that number is going to grow, and soon enough you'll be lifting numbers you never thought you could and hopefully inspiring other women to venture into the weights section too. I was terrified my first time going to the…

It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie, yellow polka dot bikini.... Sorry, couldn't help it. It was the first thing that popped in my head when I saw the pic. Awesome, though!

Hockey in the winter and soccer in the summer.

:drinker: To everyone posting pics!! Also, I find it funny that this thread started negatively but is becoming super, incredibly awesome. Usually it's the other way around. ETA - maybe I spoke too soon. \/\/\/ *sigh*

You look amazing! I, too, eat cake, ice cream, and candy (I eat ice cream and chocolate almost daily) and this just further reiterates that you don't have to deprive yourself to have a killer body.

Thanks everyone! :flowerforyou:

Suzy Shier in Canada. It was a great deal ($40), but also well made which I was really happy about. I think I've already worn it three times in the few months I've had it. I love it!

Ok, I never post pictures, but the negativity in that other thread pissed me off so here it goes. I don't have before/after pics, but his photo was taken on New Years Eve. This was after bulking for 3 months and GAINING 7-8 pounds. I lifted 3-4 days a week during this time and my only cardio was a hockey game once per…

:noway: Just stop. Please.

She looks amazing. Her dedication is admirable and I would love to look anything like that. Hopefully, in time, I will. And who flipping cares about her boobs? I was too busy admiring the definition in her legs, abs, arms, etc. to really notice them in the first place. Besides, that wasn't the point of this thread AT ALL.…
