  • Your title sounds like the goal I have set for myself. I am on a life changing journey too. Good luck to you.
  • Have you been to a nutritionist...mine saved my life. I am type 2 and she figured everything for me. I plugged the numbers in here and pick and choose foods that meet those set requirements. I do not add the calories back that I walked off. Good luck...fiber one helps fill me up. I add it to my first morning water. And I…
  • Four years ago I was where you are! Keep tracking what you eat and exercise. I am now in the 160's. YOU CAN DO THIS!! I am on my next 50 or so. Need support just say the word. When you get the first 20 lbs off you won't want to turn back....but don't forget to eat.
  • I am trying to build up to running. I have been walking 5 miles for the last 3 years. I can now run a half a mile. I find it easier to do in the winter, the heat has been brutal here. Any suggestions?

I walk no less than 3 miles at a brisk pace...using shape music from itunes. (all types of surfaces to keep down the leg pain and shin splints)I am…
  • I agree. I was told to eat 1500 cals and 35-50 carbs.. I'm diabetic...though
  • My nutri. person told me to watch my fiber 25-30 mg per day...and if I didn't get enough....to take fiber 1 in my first water of the day. She told me that fiber one bars are an excellent choice and dark green veggies...spinach.. Remember fiber is a daily staple.
  • I only weigh in once a week. I can tell by my clothes if I am on track. I have gone from a 22 to a 14 in a year. I am losing it very slowly...hoping it will stay off. I found out that muscle weighs more than fat..so in the beginning it can be a bummer to watch the scales (hence the clothes). I am heading for a size 6. Best…
