  • Holy crap you look amazing! Well done you! And thanks for the inspiration! I have 20lbs to go until my first goal, and from there I will see what needs to be done. I love seeing people like you who have done the most amazing things for their life and their loved ones. Thanks so much and congrats again x
  • WOW! Unbelievable!
  • Completely agree.
  • Every couple of weeks. Not very precise about it. Whenever I feel like I may have managed to shift another lb!
  • Bra-less doesn't work for me. Too big, too uncomfortable. But I will make sure any of my smaller friends go bra-less so I can live through them....
  • To be honest, the fact that you were brave enough to get to the STARTING line let alone fit enough to get to the finish line, is pretty brilliant as far as I'm concerned.. Give yourself some credit! Well done. x
  • I'm 23, from Ireland. Been here a few months. Always happy to have new friends, and particularly at the moment looking for friends in their 20s and a few more guys, get a bit of gender balance on here! :) Also, anyone else trying to do this while completely BROKE?
  • Looking HOT! Thanks for posting, great to see such great success pictures. I have pain problems with my ankles and especially with my wrists so there are programs I can't do. I hope you find something to suit your needs! Alice x
  • Well you may find a healthier diet may lead to you putting on a little more fat, but that's not a bad thing, you'll still look beautiful even with a bit more fat. And gaining muscle is great too. I'd agree with people saying you should try and get in some weight training, but do take it into account and up your food intake…
  • I think she just said she IS eating more as she was eating too little before...
  • Ok I'm not being snarky, I'm really not, I know where you're coming from...But the truth is there is no magic remedy. Just don't eat it. It's that simple I'm afraid. Another couple of things I guess- If you think you are eating emotionally/comfort eating, identify the emotions and the situations that provoke them, and find…
  • I for one am not welcoming you aboard a sinking ship. I do work out because I have the time and space. I merely have some compassion, can see you already have your hands full and probably burn more in a few hrs of your daily life than anyone who does an hr or two of workout and then sits on their *kitten* for the rest of…
  • Sounds like you have a lot of exercise already! Set your activity level at pretty high, go for a 1lb/week loss, and stick to the calories it gives you. Calorie deficit is calorie deficit. You can do it :)
  • Oh my god. You look like another person! You look fantastic, and you must have worked so hard, well done! Am inspired! :)
  • Your face is changing shape, your clothes sit differently, you look happier :) exciting to imagine what 40lbs might look like! 20lbs is fantastic, keep it up!
  • Get a group of friends! Having someone to cheer you on with every inch loss or lb loss or healthy meal or whatever... makes the world of difference! I've never managed to "diet" before, but this isn't the same. I've stuck with it since January, lost 8lbs (good few inches) and put on some muscle. I'm from Ireland too, feel…
  • At TOM I have an assortment of the following symptoms- cramps from my tummy almost down to my knees, so bad I can barely get out of bed, piercing headaches, nausea (sometimes vomiting), dizziness, anxiety... why the **** would I exercise on those days? And why the **** do you care? If you can do it great, you're very…
  • Sounds amazing. I have figured out how to turn my alarm OFF (not even snooze) in my sleep. I do not wake up. Sucks.
  • It's the Daily Mail. It's what they do. This is great: http://kill-or-cure.heroku.com/
  • I read some of that, and found a lot of the responses really judgemental and really missing your point! I hate to see that, and I hope it didn't get to you too much. Find a great group of supportive friends on here and stay away from the forums. For all the lovely people there are plenty of b******s who just love preaching…
  • You look amazing, thanks so much for posting, great motivation :)
  • Wow, thank you so much everyone, there are some gorgeous ideas here, I'm excited to try some! Thank you! :) (For anyone who's looking for ideas themselves, what I went for this morning was spinach, celery, kiwi, blueberries, and the juice of half a lime. Pleasantly surprised!)
  • Dr Who nerd and general geek! Anyone who wants to add me feel free! I would particularly like a few more male friends, as I have very few on here. The reason being my boyfriend is starting to show signs of interest in exercising with me or eating my food, and I'd love to have some insight on the male experience of working…
  • Thanks for the suggestion!
  • I know it sounds boring and predictable but... yoghurts and fruit. I had to force myself with the fruit at first but that was a mental block more than a taste one... I guess best thing I've done is start checking labels in supermarkets and constantly trying new things to keep myself interested! :)
  • I had a big occasion last night, knew I was going to drink a lot, I worked out for over 2 hours, and did everything I did all day in a more active way, so I knew I could drink guilt free! Don't skimp on food, just try and work it off :)
  • It takes time. I'm a really slow loser, I only just passed my fast half-stone mark after 5 1/2 months! But it's totally worth it to do it right no matter how slow the process. It's about changing your habits so you can gradually lose and then keep it off. And the other benefits make it worth it, more energy, better mental…
  • Really? I didn't know you were 2 years younger than me!! :)
  • I'm guessing for me the 80s were a glorious seven months of sleeping, pooing, and drinking formula milk. Now, I love lots of amazing 80s music. So all-in-all pretty cool. However it was the late 90s and early 00s when I discovered all this awesome 80s music so they were pretty cool times too....
  • I'm not personally affected by this issue, I just wanted to send you (and your brother) a mental hug and tell you that you're awfully brave and kind to put this out here.
