I think I have finally learned that weight lose is all about changing your attitude and eating habits and not "diets". So I'm making my grocery list for next week and I'm wondering what are favorite low cal foods? Or what food have you always eaten and were surprised that it was good for you?

I love fried zucchini....it is not a 'diet' food cause it's fried but it' healthy, tasty, delicious, crunchy and low in calories :)

I am a veggie freak- love raw veggies with a couple tablespoons of italian dressing. Also like fat free yogurts and especially Breyer's Fat Free French Chocolate ice cream!
  • I know it sounds boring and predictable but... yoghurts and fruit. I had to force myself with the fruit at first but that was a mental block more than a taste one...
I guess best thing I've done is start checking labels in supermarkets and constantly trying new things to keep myself interested! :)

The top foods in my diary are:
    Broccoli
    Milk
    String cheese
    Olive oil
    Boneless skinless chicken breast
    Spinach
    Gala apples

  • I just changed a few things =) like buying crisps (chips) that where baked and not fried which my favourites are, walkers baked stars, wotsits, quavers, which are all under 100 calories =)
breakfast bars, my favourites are special k bar which are all under 100 calories and gives you a taste of chocolate =)
Humous and carrots, which come to around 100 calories but are so filling, and a good source of protein =)
and if your really craving chocolate =) Mars, maltesers which I think are 11 calories each =)

obviously eat your fruit and veg but these are just if your craving bits and bobs =)
