It has only been 6 months... about a pound per week, but still can get so…

Amen Sister!! When I really track and follow, and move my body every day, the weight comes off - and I am so tired of people saying "But you're so tall!!" So that is reason to be 50 pounds overweight?? these pounds are just as hard to get off as they are on a person 5 ft 1. a pound is still 3500 calories, regardless of…

What a great idea, 2 miles a week, I swim about 1/2 mile when I go swim, and I could go 4 times a week. Neat! I love how swimming makes my whole body feel tired - and my kids are independent swimmers, so I can just do laps at the neighborhood pool (25 meter) while they play. so 16 laps is a half mile right? 32 lengths? I…

Hey there Moxette, I just got back from 3 days, 35 miles, of backpacking the Appalachian Trail in the Blue Ridge mountains. I packed in about 2000 calories a day - and I got home yesterday, and weighed in, and I know I am retaining water today, swelling up from the lack of constant movement... and I somehow gained weight??…

keep drinking all that water, it takes 3 weeks for the body to shift, get the hint and start losing. do not give up!! And that is still about 1 pound a week. You want it to be slow and steady so that it stays off, and we are women, our bodies fluctuate a ton during the month with water and hormones. So just keep at it, it…
