Tuna salad on celery sticks, and a yogurt

I get the Dr. Oetker thin crust pizza's. You can have half the pizza for between 380-440 depending on the kind. Then we have a nice big side salad to go along with it. So satisfying and easily fits into our daily calorie goals! Its usually our friday or saturday night meal as it really feels like a treat after having a…

I like mine very simple, tuna (in water), little bit of light mayo, sweet or dill pickles (depending on my mood) finely diced, green onion and fresh cracked black pepper. I like mine on celery sticks, such a great crunch! Its been my go to lunch lately, especially on a monday when I need to regroup from the weekend lol

All belly and love handles- yuck! I wish I had any hint of a booty but nope, no such luck

OP, you say you are new to this weight loss path you are taking. First of all, kudos in starting to make a change for yourself. I would check out a couple really good threads here on MFP. There is one in this section called "So you want a flat stomach" also a really good intro to weight loss on the getting started forum…

ahh the buffets!!! Thankfully we have a holiday house there so at least breakfasts will be at home and hopefully a bbq one evening. And i can do some good aquacize moves without feeling like an idiot in a public pool lol

There is a reason that their sales have decrease by 27% and their 100 cal snacks by 62%. They are gimmicky and people are wising up to what eating healthy really is- and its not just one bowl of cereal! stick to a calorie deficit and fill your body with good, healthy, whole, nutrient dense foods that will make you feel…

Yes of course they weigh the same but muscle doesn't take up nearly as much mass as fat. Therefore he could remain the same weight but be shrinking in measurements. Although to build that much muscle you would need to be consuming more than 1500 calories.

I agree with what most people have said. -Either get a scale to track your progress or go by measurements. - buy a food scale and use it! You will be amazed at how off you are simply eye-balling your portions - eat more! Especially protein. 1800 cals when you are working out 2.5 hours a day is not enough!!! Your body will…

Love this! I will now have Treat meals/days. No guilty feelings associated

I hear you Prince_eric. We need more members like you on this site and less of the negativity. We are all here to try and better ourselves. Bullies need not apply thank you!

Where you are going wrong is that you are starving your body. 1000 calories is seriously low and your body is clinging onto every last morsel of food you put into your mouth. It never knows when it will be feed next. You need to do some calculations like your BMR, TDEE to figure out how much you should actually be eating.…

Oh i would be in so much trouble in your shoes. I'm a savoury kinda person and the salty crispy fries would be calling my name. I give in to my cravings for salt and crunch with popcorn- much healthier and still so satisfying. Pop a 100 calorie bag before you go and pull it out when you get those munchies. Another snack I…

I feel your pain with the snow- I'm from the Canadian prairies and it looks like we'll have snow until June the way this winter has been going. Do you have a sport complex or university in your area? Many will have drop in times that you could use the walking track. Or how about mommy and me swimming or aquasize? I know…

Yes if you follow the Betty Crocker recipe which calls for 1 cup of shredded cheese as this adds an additonal 440-ish calories. So if you omit the cheese it save about 75 calories per pie bringing the calorie count to about 60. Its all about making smart choices and adjusting the recipes.

Hi, my name is Erin and I am turning 31 next month. I currently weigh 172 and am 5'4. My ultimate goal weight would be around 138. I have a gorgeous 2.5 year old son who deserves a more active mommy! My husband has committed to a better lifestyle so we are doing this together. I had been doing really well last winter then…

I have all my old clothes and lingerie from 4 years ago when I was living in London 30lbs lighter. My goal dress is a black button up pencil dress that was very fitted and made me feel amazing. I want to feel like that again

Wow! you look fantastic. Your body is losing the weight in all the right places and you look so toned and tight. Jealous!!!! lol

Victoria Secret looks like they have great suits but none close to me in Canada and I don't think shipping will be here by next week. Might have to check one out while i'm down there!

Haha, thanks for the advice, not sure I could pull it off tho. But that did make me giggle  and trust me, no one want to see that lol

For my husband and I, and childcare at our local Motion Fitness (Canada) we pay $80 bi-weekly. Ridiculous if you ask me, especially considering we left Fitness for $10 where we paid $20/month for the both of us and that included unlimited tanning (which i never used once). However, location and childcare facilities were…

To feel comfortable changing in front of my husband (I'm not sure he has ever seen me completely naked in 4 years!) To have fun at the beach/pool instead of just pretending To wear all my old clothes from London 3 years ago To feel like I fit in when getting pictures taken with my beautiful sisters and cousins

I've been on Synthroid for about 6 months now since having my thyroid removed. They think I am finally on the right dose at 125mg. I have lost about 10 lbs but its not falling off like I thought it would after going on medication. It will always be harder for me to lose weight buts its slowly coming off. My energy levels…

I think your omelet sounds like the better option. Fruit and yogurt for breakfast then fruit and a shake for lunch would contain a lot of sugar which could cause a mid morning or afternoon crash then you will be hungry for anything near by. I would replace either breakfast or lunch with a 2 egg omelet with some lean ham or…

Hahaha, "fun-sized" i just love that

My husband. I would still be just sitting on the couch eating chips if it were just me. He's pushing himself to get back into shape for his 35th birthday in August and I want to support him too. He's good motivation for me and calls me out on my excuses- thats what i need.
