  • First, what the heck is NSV??? Secondly, yes this is normal. I've also lost a lot of weight, but I used to get it when I heavy, too. Honks, hollers from across the street, trying to talk to me while I'm running by. This male behavior baffles and frustrates me. Yes, I suppose the easy thing to do would be to take it as a…
  • I had a serious confidence issue with running in public. Honestly though, people don't seem to judge. If they do, that's their problem. Because hey, you're out there doing it, and most people don't! As I read in another reply, when I see someone running, I'm thinking "good for them," regardless of their size. Actually, I…
  • Wow, nice job!
  • Oh yeah I've heard of this. I know people that have done it and it does work. Of course, this is a diet, not a sustainable healthy lifestyle change. I wonder what happens when you start eating normal food again?
  • Don't update your food diary while driving! It's important but not urgent :-)
  • Twins? Age: 25 Height: 5'2.5" SW: 220 CW: 141 GW:135
  • Yes, intervals are great at helping you lose weight and achieve move intensity in your workout. I used to haaaate running, then I started doing walk-run intervals and eventually came to run a 5K within 3 months and a 10k 4 months later. I started intervals at a time when I had hit a little bit of a plateau, and it really…
  • Height: 5'2 1/2" (every half inch counts at this height!) SW: (almost 2 years ago) 220 lbs CW: 140 lbs GW: 130-135 lbs I have my calorie goal set at 1200. Sometimes that's fine, but sometimes I'm way hungry, craving (delicious) high calorie foods, and that's an impossible number. I ride my bike to work and go to the gym…
  • I too work out after dinner and feel fine. When I don't eat before an evening workout is when I feel nauseous, ravenous, or just don't perform well. My dinner is pretty light, so by the time I start working out about 45 min later I feel fine. I have noticed that when I work out on Saturday morning I don't always eat first,…
  • 5'2" SW: 220 CW: 140 GW: 130-ish? I'm not really sure about my goal weight. I've done the wrist measurement thing to determine my frame size which has told me that I have a large frame. At 140 my BMI still suggests that I've overweight. I'm still trying to figure out my goal.
  • Definitely a good idea not have them around. I've been keeping sweets out of the house for a while now (except for if I'm in a baking mood, then I eat some and give the rest away!). They call to you from the kitchen if they aren't there! I love sweets also, and I've found that a banana is a good substitute. It's satisfies…
  • omg it's 9:13 and I have 94 calories. How weeeeeiiirrrdd.
  • A shirt and a bra to to change into after my workout. Luckily my gym is in the same building as Target!
  • My hair and my smile. But my favorite is when people tell me I'm funny. It's feels good to be able to make people laugh.
  • Wow, 95 lbs! Good job. My problem areas are very similar. I have been exercising all along, cardio and weight training, but still have the same problem. I wasn't that bothered by the excess skin at first, but now that I've been at this size for almost a year, it's getting to be very bothersome--it's ugly to me. It's nice…
  • Yes, you can tell--very much so. And 26 lbs IS a lot. It may seem small in the grand scheme of things, but if you think about 26 lbs on its on, that's hard work to get it off! Think about carrying a 5lb bag of sugar... then think about carrying 5 of those! That's 25 lbs right there and you lost one more than that so far.
  • I have no used Wii Active 2. I use Just Dance 2 & 3, which I LOOOOOVE. Great workout if you get into it. I almost always break a sweat. Zumba 2 is very fun also, but I don't like it as much as JD 2 or 3. It's different. It gives you just as much of a workout but you don't have to be quite as precise with the dance moves…
