Agree with what your saying, but I think the idea is you wouldn't just eat say 100g of pasta, you'd have to also eat 100g of veg which is low calorie. I use slimming world recipes, though I wouldnt use the ones saved in myfitnesspal, as you can't be sure your using the same measurements as someone else.
