you look great, what an inspiration!
  • Thank you so much for sharing! I read each word very attentively and appreciate your honesty about what worked for you! I'm just starting to be successful at this by doing some of the things you found to help you! I only pray that I will continue to get fitter and stronger along this journey. I have a LONG way to go but I know I will get there! I was thinking about lifting, I know it's good for bone health and thanks to you I will explore this in the months to come! I'm nervous about injuring myself so i think at first I'll get a trainer since my dad lives in another state! Thank you, and keep on rockin girlie!:drinker:

First of all congratulations because you look amazing!

Secondly, where are you an officer, cause I'm coming to commit some crimes and try to resist arrest.

Wow, thanks for this. I loved reading your story and your philosophy on weight loss is EXACTLY what I needed to hear. I totally agree with listening to your body and I've been trying to do that more, instead of just trying to eat a certain number of calories.

    You are truly an inspiration!

  • Great work in your diet and training but once you follow the links it does tend to feel like this post is a feeder link intended to promote advertising for the Venus Index programs and products.
  • I love reading your story & so motivating.

Just the motivation I need!! Awesome!!
  • AWESOME AWESOME Story!! I really enjoyed reading about your journey with weight loss! you look exceptional as well!
  • Thank you for sharing in detail what you did to achieve your fabulous results, and for the encouragement that any of us can do this. You look wonderful and definitely not what our society expects to look like at age 51. I am age 58 and am now near the weight I want to be/eating "whole" foods, I just need to figure out how to consistently work weight lifting and cardio into my lifestyle. Your post will help me and thousands of others.
  • Awesome! :)

Do you have a problem with people sharing what worked for them? She isn't selling anything.

I've been struggling with my weight loss plan and staying consistent with my workouts for several months. Your story inspired me to grab my gym bag and head to the gym during my lunch hour today. Had a great workout and you've totally motivated me to keep up with challenge.

Thank you for sharing you're story...You look great!!!

Thank you so much for sharing this. I am 5'1" and starting my weightloss adventure over. I have hit a new high of 184.8 lbs.... I have tried and tried to lose weight with most "diet plans" and I never get very far... they want me to eat 1400-2000 calories on a 5'1" frame... it SO doesn't work. Your story is so inspirational/ motivational to me... Thank you so much for sharing it.

It does happen to be part of my story, if I found another some other workout than that would have been part of my story instead. I can't change my history. But you can accomplish the same thing doing other workouts and changing things up and eating at a deficit. My main intent is to encourage other woman especially older women who have struggled like I did and society says to give up this is what happens when you get older like us. I'm a retired lady and completely a volunteer. Take it or leave it. I have nothing to gain or lose either way. I know people are suspicious and even surprised that I am a volunteer deputy and write fitness articles as a volunteer. My whole life is volunteerism at the moment and I'm proud of it. Someday soon I might be getting a job in the fitness field and then I won't be on here helping people for free and I guess you all will be glad that I am gone.

Although I think my words back when I originally posted here were pretty clumsy. I was so excited. I've come a long way in that category now too. Back when I posted this thread I wasn't working and now I am actually an online coach, brand ambassador, and fitness author for three different companies. And I won't say who they are on here because it does not matter! I've been loyal on MFP all by itself.
