  • Tough to pick just 5. These 5 came immediately to mind... Master of Puppets - Metallica An Evening with El Diablio - Chevelle 10,000 Days (Wings for Marie) - Tool Minerva - Deftones My Brain Is Hanging Upside Down (Bonzo Goes to Bitburg) - Ramones
  • I'm less concerned about someone using a treadmill next to me as I am someone "claiming" two (or more) machines at once, or someone that takes extended breaks on the machines with their faces buried in their phones and/or talking to others. Others need to use the machines too. Use the machine or get off.
  • This. I'd also make sure your mother isn't do anything to feed into it. The bottom line is you, your mom, and (if necessary) the owners of the gym all have to send this guy the exact same message very clearly...that you are not interested and are being made uncomfortable. Guys have no game these days.
  • Well said. Based on how he interviews, I will say Lochte seems about as smart as lint.
  • The OP hit my major ones, but one to add... People who use two machines at once. Last month some toolbox was taking up two squat machines (our gym has four). He had one set up for bench press and the other for something else. To make it worse, he wasn't moving very fast. I was watching from the treadmill and he was off…
  • I working on a guitar made of bacon. I'll be sure to make it my pic.
  • Cleanup in aisle 4.
  • Great job! I'm hoping to complete my first marathon next year!
  • Used to watch it all the time as a kid.
  • "Are you gonna bark all day, little doggie, or are you gonna bite?"

  • 1. The time I'm taking for myself. 2. Learning a new workout or a way to improve. 3. Breaking a personal best record. I can't wait to go tonight. Been off for a week trying to rest an injury.
  • Billie Jean: 5-month old female Great Dane/Yellow Lab mix.
  • It was a great series, BMX. Shame we had to meet in the 1st round and not later. As a Flyer fan, I say bring on whoever. If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best.
  • Gloucester County here!
  • Carb up the night before and protein up the day of. I usually do pasta the night before a race and some light protein just before (peanut butter on toast is good for me). For me, the best way to lower your time is to train accordingly and be ready on race day. I'm not a knee expert, but maybe visit a running shop to see…

  • Not sure what you're trying to put up, but I would also suggest to try squatting a minimal amount of weight until you feel good doing it, then move up gradually if you so choose.
  • As far as I know, they all do. It was called Electroshock Therapy when I ran and was the final obstacle before the finish. You run through a bunch of wires. Some are charged; some not. It hurt so bad my face was twitching! I've never been hit by a stun gun, but that must be what it feels like.
  • Nice! You may have some more hills to deal with than we did but it probably won't be nearly as cold. Don't get psych'd out...lol. It's tough but you can do it and you'll feel like a million bucks when you cross the finish and earn your orange headband! Even if you can't join a larger team a two-person team is good. We had…
  • I did the Tough Mudder Tri-State last year (Englishtown, NJ). You're right, this is no casual mud run. I'm in pretty good shape and it was easily the hardest thing I have done to date. It was 34 degrees at our 8:00 AM start. Freezing water, killer obstacles, not only a physical challenge but mentally, too. My muscles…
  • I have two pairs of them and absolutely love them! I have a pair of KSOs that have virtually nothing on the bottom and a pair of Trek Sports that have some tread on them for Mud Runs, etc. I have bad ankles and have to wear an ankle brace when running/exercising in conventional running shoes. Not in my vibrams! I will also…
  • I have a Mio Classic but it died on me...it may just need a new battery. You have to enter in you weight, sex, resting heart rate, etc. I go by the cals burned during a workout. The nice thing about the mio is it doesn't have a chest strap, although sometimes it would not pick up my workouts. Curious to see what others are…
  • I do this same thing. I entered custom workouts "ex: chest and triceps" under cardio and I enter the cals burned there. My Mio watch broke but I still have a decent idea of what I'm burning there.
  • Anyone who judges you on your personal pace or how you decide to run a race needs to take a good look in the mirror. The odds are they're a pretty insecure person. Unfortunately, people like that are more likely to say hurtful things like that over the net rather than if you were in person with them. Just keep on focusing…
  • <Ron Hextall is this guy's all-time favorite Flyer.
  • Guitar for almost 20-years. My kids think I sound good! I'd like to learn piano. I've messed around with it a bit and it seems more similar to a guitar than one would think.
  • You know when a Red Wing fan says that it was nuts! :) I'm thinking back to the Detroit vs Colorado games that got crazy. There is no love lost between Philly and Pittsburgh.
  • Just in case anyone couldn't tell already, I'm a huge Flyer fan. I want to see a sweep on Wednesday!
