I did read wheat belly and tried cutting out carbs for several weeks, I lost a little weight but still had the puffy tummy area :(

What is clean eating?

I really believe it is more in what you eat than how much you work out. I would look at your food journal and see if you can cut back on carbs, processed food (usually high in sodium) and look for hidden sugars.

Find some higher calorie and good quality foods - nuts are a great one or avacados.

Have you tried switching it up a bit on the exercise routine? What types of foods are you eating? Processed foods have a lot of sodium which can cause water retention. Were you loosing weight before this? Sometimes a body can get on a plateau (I just had a week long one). Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Weight Loss Tools

I'm 10 lbs away from my new goal (I am at my original goal but still feel fat). I worry that I will get down to 120 and still feel fat. I am working out and feel great, if I could just get rid of the rolls that are my stomach, hips and thighs, I would be much happier. I agree that it is more in our heads though and I…

It depends on how your body reacts. I think a goal of 5 lbs a month is more realistic but it really depends.

I've lost 45 lbs so far (10 more to go) and I went from a 14 to a 6. I think you will notice when you loose the 50 lbs. It will be easier to move around, you will feel better, more energy. How much does your child weight? One of my kids is 50 lbs. Picking him up is hard, I try and remember that I was basically carrying…

I go every hour. A tip for drinking more water, I drink ice water with a straw, helps me get it all in.

I wish I knew. I have 44 lbs and fairly close to goal yet I keep looking in the mirror or in photos and thinking I look fat. I can see the difference (went from a 14 to a 6) but I still think I look heavy. It also worries me because I wonder if I will need to loose more than I was planning on before feeling comfortable in…

Hi - I am a 35 year old mom and I started weighing myself daily in July when I started dieting. I am down 43 lbs and want to take off another 10-15 lbs. By weighing myself daily, I feel more in control. I am pretty nervous about gaining the weight back and by checking myself, I am learning more about my own general…

I'm 5'3 - started at 175 lbs. currently at 132 lbs. goal is 120 (may re-evaluate when I get there).

Yes - I have lost 43 lbs before MFP and am hoping to loose the last while here. I went from a 14 to a 6 (hoping to end up a 4) and I still feel big. When I look in the mirror, all I see is rolls, I want to hide back in bigger clothes, etc. and I still don't enjoy shopping. I know it takes time for your head to adjust. I am…
