Mmm, crispy tofu... Is it sticky and gooey like real General Tso's?
-
You can use silken tofu as a base for dips and creamy soups. I use it to make my own ranch dressing, vegan mayo and vegan sour cream.

I've heard great things about Field Roast: http://www.fieldroast.com/ but have never tried them myself. I really don't like fake meat products. My plan for Thanksgiving is to veganize my favorite sides and eat those and forego any kind of meat substitute. There are great recipes and ideas all over the internet, just Google…

I don't do any abs specific exercises and have ab definition. I've been in training for triathlons all summer long so just running, swimming and biking. I also follow a plant based diet and eat as clean as I can.

Since I began this journey in January I gave up drinking the way I used to. I still have a few beers on the weekends, but at the beginning (this Spring) I didn't drink at all. I probably went a few months without a beer. I lost most of my "friends" because I wouldn't drink with them. I'm okay with that though, because I…

I don't take any supplements at all and meet my daily requirements for protein, calcium, iron, etc. I lack intrinsic factor so take B12 injections bi-weekly. Due to this, I get bloodwork regularly. All my levels have been perfect since I transitioned to a plant-based diet.

I live right by a cemetery and walked there for years, started running there this spring. It's got lots of hills and stairs! I stay on the path at all times. I've never run across a living soul, except the guys who mow the grass and maintain the cemetery. It's very peaceful in my opinion.

Our local dentist will give the kids $1 for each pound of candy they turn in. Usually my kids will eat a piece or two the first few days following Halloween, then their interest dies down. Sometimes I take the candy to work other times it goes in the trash. I am a vegan and there is very little vegan-friendly candy!

I recently made this recipe and everyone in my family loved it! http://ohsheglows.com/2010/09/08/high-protein-garlic-mashed-potatoes/

99% of the time I eat my veggies plain. I will dip in hummus on a very rare occasion. For salad I make my own Italian Hemp Dressing.

Mainly what the others have said, increase distances, increase time spent running (longer runs), intervals, fartleks, etc.

Good luck!

What she said! I love OSG and every recipe I've ever made of hers has been awesome! The enchilada casserole is delicious.

Padded shorts do help, but your *kitten* will get used to the seat, I really don't need the padded shorts anymore. I would not recommend padded gel seat covers. Classes around here are typically 45min to an hour. The great thing about spin class is they are all about perceived exertion. So customizable for every ability! I…

I've found that any vegan/plant based "cheese" isn't quite what I remember real cheese to taste like! That being said, I live in a very rural area and don't have access to things like Daiya or vegan cream cheese. I haven't tried the cashew cheese yet either, only nooch based cheese.

I've been a vegetarian at different points in my life, recently turning to veganism in May of this year. Excellent omelette recipe: http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/2007/09/vegan-omelette-for-one.html Nacho "cheese" recipe: http://www.theppk.com/2011/11/cashew-queso/ Feel free to add me!

185 days, 26 pounds

If you don't like it, don't eat it! There's other ways to get plenty of protein, most people eat more protein than they need anyways.

In addition to the PPK and Happy Herbivore, my favorite site is ohsheglows.com! All three are great resources for veg*ns!

I've felt this way on days that I go over my calories but recently found on my iphone that I can look at the week as a whole (not sure if this is possible on PC) and that usually makes me feel better. I've looked over the past few weeks to a month and every week I've been under my calories for the week as a whole. Even if…

Thanks BobbyDaniel for your disclosure, LOL. Made me feel better for sure! Since I've returned home on Saturday evening I've stayed true to my vegan diet! Love the quote maradot!

My go to recipe: 1/3 cup oats 1 cup almond milk (I use So Delicious Plus vanilla flavor) 1 tbsp chia seeds 1 tbsp ground flax 1 tbsp wheat germ 1 tbsp blackstrap molasses I add 1 cup of frozen fruit, I do a rotation of raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, mixed berries, and mango chunks. Raspberries are my favorite!…

Thanks everyone for your words of advice and encouragement! I had a good day today and ate 100% vegan, which felt great!

Everything you could imagine! LOL. Steep uphill climbs, mud pits, water slides, a maze, electric fence, barbed wire that you had to crawl under, a "house" that was filled with fog and there were electric wires hanging down that shocked you, walls to climb over, "infested" hoses that you had to jump over, tires on the…

As often as possible in every way possible! I love peanut butter! Crunchy, smooth, with honey, etc. It's all fantastic!

I use lotion to shave, it's saved me from a summer of razor burn!

^^This. I leave mine in the laundry for a couple of days...they don't smell great, but otherwise I haven't had any problems doing it this way.

Cats should NOT be fed a vegan diet. It is extremely dangerous and can kill your cat. Please read this: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/706563-feeding-a-cat-as-a-vegan

You are absolutely correct, you do have to be informed. Veganism/vegetarianism/plant-based does not equal automatic good health. I've done a lot of research and continue to do so in order to live the healthiest I can.
