  • your body will definitely need the recovery week if you're doing 6 days a week of insanity. I am already quite fit but have had to decrease to 4-5 days a week of insanity because i was getting injuries.
  • my husband and i do Insanity together and we egg each other on. We too are very busy so unless its the weekend or a day off we get up and do it before work, then you can have a nice refreshing shower, off to work and relax in the evening. I would say it will be harder if you haven't done any sport or exercise for a while…
  • I went from Shred to insanity, the cardio's much harder but you just have to pace yourself and not try to keep up with the guys on the DVD. Done 6 days so far and loving it but boy is it hard. Makes you feel great afterwards though. Go for it!!!

  • thanks Kel, how long did it take you to lose your 25lbs. Weighed in today and nothing lost. I think I need to keep a careful eye on my up days as haven't counted calories and considering doing strict ud and dds instead of just 3 dds.

  • can someone give me some advice, I'm doing 500 /2200 based on the fact that i exercise moderately, but tonight i will do a body attack class and burn about 650 calories, can i replace that 650 with food? I know i'll be ravenous and I've been on a DD today?

Have done my own thing for past 4 days fasting to get a kick start, one more day then going to do Monday, Wedneday and Fridays fasting and 4 days UDs, I do lots of exercise so don't want to feel weak doing it and feel 3 days will be enough.
