Good for you! I ran my first 5k last October and will do it again this Oct. I was so proud of myself, husband and kids. I set this goal and couldn't believe I actually did it and enjoyed it. Some days I had to force myself to get out and run but when I did I felt great!! We finished the 5k in 37 mins:) Best of luck to you…

ww dropout also. I find it easier to count calories vs points. I still check out the ww boards as there's a MFP thread I follow:) I must say I love the database on MFP so much better:) Add me as a friend if you like. I could use the support. Cheers :smile:

Wow lots of runners! That is great :) Feel free to add me. I did my first 5k in Moncton last Oct and planning on doing the Bluenose in May. I will try for a 10K this October but need to get back at it!!!! Happy running
