Way to go!

This is me too. I will be running a half next February. I don't care if I'm the last one to step across the finish line. I will be proud of myself regardless.
-
Wow! You look fantastic!
-
Cool! Next year I'd love to be a Zombie instead of a runner.

I'm doing Run For Your Lives in August and Zombie Survival Dash in October. Can't wait!!!!

I am 5' 6" and have my profile set to lose 1 pound a week. The goal MFP gave me is 1600 calories. I try to net between 1400 and 1600 with exercise.
-
Usually I only count workouts, meaning, when I get my workout clothes on and my HRM and exercise. Sometimes I count walking if I happen to be doing a lot of it like at the zoo for hours and hours, but then I usually cut the MFP calories burned in half.
-
Yes, as long as I was confident I would finish.

I'd say "If you think I look great now, just wait until you see me after I lose another 30 pounds. I'm gonna be smokin'!" I don't know why people say the crap they say. Maybe they're jealous. Maybe there is such a drastic difference that they can't picture you with more weight loss. I don't think your goal is outrageous.

Congratulations! You look amazing!
-
I'm sorry that happened. People can be such *kitten*.

First of all, you're not going on a diet. You are going to be making healthier food choices and adding in exercise. I eat what I want, I just make it fit into my calorie goal. Some days my choices are healthier than others. For me healthy food choices are a work in progress. As for exercise, you just have to make yourself…

I think the photo does more harm than good. Every mother and child are different and most children will self-wean, some need gentle guidance to do so. I see nothing wrong with nursing a 3 year old. I had to wean my DS at 18 months due to my health issues. It was not something either of us were ready for and I wish I could…

Going to see my mom then heading to Six Flags and stopping my MIL's house on the way home.

I'd open up a movie house where I could show all kinds of sci-fi and fantasy movies. I love the old B movies. We'd have marathon nights too. I'd also want to have book nights and invite authors to visit for readings/discussion. Maybe a small art gallery in the building to feature local artists. Basically a sci-fi & fantasy…

Wow! Fantastic!

I agree that you need a new doctor. You can do this. It will take time, but believe in yourself and work hard and you'll see the results.

Physique. I am only monitoring my weight now because I know about what I should weigh based on how much I weighed before I gained. I set my goal at 150. I weighed less six years ago but I was not toned. I would much rather weigh more than 150 and have an athletic, strong, somewhat muscular body.

We're not part of the South, but Missouri is one of the fattest states. I found the stat from last year and 66% of Missouri adults are overweight or obese and looking around every day, that figure seems pretty accurate. The CDC's projection does not surprise me. Of course that can always be changed if we choose to change…

I saw this yesterday and I've lost count of how many times I've watched it. Arthur is truly amazing. I wish I could give him a big hug. I can't wait to see the documentary that is supposed to come out later this year called Inspired. (inspiredthemovie.com)

Thanks for the recap. I'm doing Run For Your Lives in August. Can't wait!

Sobbing right now. Amazing. I've got to share this.
-
Can't wait to try these.

Another vote for goodwill. I'm a thrift store shopper anyway, but I've been specifically going about every other week to look for pants and shorts especially. My size 18 jeans were falling down to my knees when I walked. hahahah. Now my 16s are starting to do the same thing.

Congratulations!

I think we may need more info to be helpful. If you don't want to give more info, which is completely understandable, I'd suggest speaking with your doctor.

The catalyst was seeing myself in our Disney photos. Also I knew I was ready because I was able to haul my kids around Disney World at 7 months post open heart surgery without dropping dead. I figure if I can do that for 8 days then I can do anything. Next February I'm going to look fantastic standing in front of…

I know you said your shoes are the correct size, but I had to go up a half size in my running shoes to accommodate minor swelling. You should have about a thumbnail width of room between the end of your toe and the front of the shoe. Also, make sure your toe nails are trimmed short, but not too short. Or, maybe it is just…

I have stretch marks from weight gain and pregnancy. I don't think stretch marks are unattractive. My DH has some too. I look right past them, meaning they aren't a turn off at all.
