  • You really have to get some kind of monitor. I have varied from 560 calories to almost 900 depending on the intensity of the my workout. One night I did 758. 2 nights later it was only 569.

  • Mine isn't a warning label so much as obvious instructions. I bought a CD case that holds 72 CDs. At the bottom it states "UNIT AUTOMATICALLY BECOMES PORTABLE WHEN CARRIED".
  • I've never really admitted this out loud but the reason I started losing weight was I got tired of my *kitten*-crack sweating and chaffing.
  • I use a solo cup (just happens to be red at the moment) fill with ice, put in my tequila, squirt the lime juice, fill with Sprite Zero and add in the drink packet and stir. Oh and just a note: the type of tequila and lime juice you use does make a difference. You may have to experiment to find the ones that give you the…
  • Well I don't know about going to happy hours but I have switched from Coors Light to a Margarita recipe I got from here. It is around 75 calories depending on how many calories the tequila has (which is hard to find out for sure) but I figure I can drink 8 of those to 6 Coors Lights and in the same time it would take me to…
  • There's a lady here that sits 3 cubes away and I hate when she eats breakfast. She clanks her spoon on her bowl for what seems like forever when she is doing it but in reality is only a couple of minutes. I wear headphones and unless I have the music turned up almost full volume, I can still hear her clanking. Her laugh…
  • I need to come back when I have more time and look at this.
  • I don't really like that either and avoided watching that video as long as I could until my son shoved it in my face a couple weeks ago. It was also the first routine when I returned to Zumba 2 weeks ago. Thankfully she has only done it that once.
  • I'm going as ragweed. I have green sweats that I wore a couple years ago when I went as "deer corn". I'm gong to wrap leaves around my legs and pin yellow wash rags to the top and make a head band with more yellow rags. I plan on carrying a basket with eye drops, allergy medicine and tissues. Last year I went as Marge…
  • I've made Tuscan Pumpkin and White bean soup, pumpkin stew, pumpkin chili, and a few others that now I can't remember. We have an "Anything pumpkin" cook-off every year at Halloween and I have been in the top 3 with all of these. I tend to go for more savory because I know everyone else is going sweet.
  • You can substitute plain yogurt for the sour cream too. I started doing this with the ranch dip mix and my group actually prefers it to the sour cream version. I love it because I can make it and don't have to be quite as concerned about how much I eat (only how much of what I eat it with) and I don't have to make double…
  • Depending on the size, a single breast can be anywhere from 2 to maybe even 4 servings. That means that at 4 oz per serving one breast can weigh from 8 oz to 16 oz (one pound). And yes I had a package of breasts once that had one that large. I can only imagine how big that bird was whole. Typically though I think the…
  • I think that is probably my biggest hurdle. I have switched to the 74 calorie margarita recipe that someone posted here. Still trying to tweak the amount of the ingredients for the best taste. It's a pretty simple recipe. 1 oz tequila 64ish calories per ounce 1 packet lemonade flavor drink packet (10 calories per packet) 8…
  • I recently ran into a WW pumpkin hummus recipe. Has 2 tbsp tahini. I may make if for our Halloween pumpkin cook-off if we have one this year. I'm not much into hummus but I work with lots of people that are. http://ww-recipes.net/2008/11/weight-watchers-pumpkin-hummus-recipe-2-points/
  • Sadly, these only make me feel worse about myself. :ohwell: I am just as capable as they are so what the f*** IS my problem? I wish I could answer that. I have always wondered why some people in the same situations give up and others don't. And I wonder ultimately which group I will fall into if something that devastating…
  • I'm in this same boat. I hate it. I've lost 17 pounds and my 16s are too baggy but the 14s are just too tight. I can barely breathe in them. But at least NOW I can get the 14s on whereas before I couldn't even pull them up over my big bootay! I know the key is to get to exercising more. I just don't.
  • See if you can find a Great Dane rescue in your area. You could certainly get one for way less than $1200. And even if you wanted a puppy you could probably get one, you just might have to wait for it. You could always offer to foster for them. I never could do that because I wouldn't be able to give them up when they got…
  • 1. as a spouse/significant other - have 3 of them. 2. as a parent (if applicable) - have them 11 years apart 3. as a friend -have one since high school 4. as an employee - be here 8 years 5. as a sibling - be so close geographically but so far away 6. as a daughter/son - be so close geographically but so far away 7. being…
  • I have a friend that I went to school with that does 12th man videos for the Seahawks. The Seahawks have started hosting his videos on their site. Kinda cool. I have been to 1 professional baseball game (Astros a looooooooong time ago), 1 professional football game (first game in the new stadium preseason week 1 Cowboys v…
  • My husband is a truck driver and eats at Whataburger EVERYDAY! Sometimes twice. He says it is because their parking lots are easy to get his semi into. It's a miracle he doesn't weight 400 pounds. Of course he is very active with jumping up and down off the trailer (flatbed) and throwing the tarps which weigh approximately…
  • I'm an editorial assistant for a major textbook publisher. I am in the math department and we do books for grades 6, 7, and 8 and Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. I absolutely love my job. I've been here 8 years now and it was only supposed to be for 3 weeks while I waited for my job at the IRS to start. I am so glad I…
  • The Hills Have Eyes for me too but the original 1977 version. I was sad to see the scene I remember most wasn't in the remake. It is where the leader of the hill people was sitting around the fire with the dad (in the fire) from the camper. Human Centipede just doesn't look like anything I'd be interested in watching. Can…
  • I'm kinda having a crappy day too. I won tickets to see my fave singer (Gary Allan) and tubing. Hubby doesn't want to go. My mother and my daughter both have to check with their SO before they can say they'll go. (WTF?) I hate not having RL friends. :frown:
  • I was thinking this exact thing. Having an opinion makes you judgmental. o·pin·ion/əˈpinyən/ Noun: 1. A view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.
  • I seriously doubt there is ANY food you could stick in your eye for two minutes (and why would you want to) that wouldn't have adverse effects of some kind. How did that become the test to determine if a food is worth eating anyway? Personally, if it doesn't have garlic, onions, and mushrooms it just isn't really food.
  • Tonight we're having chipotle salmon, ceasar salad and baked potato.
  • Wow, thanks for that link. That guy has a bunch of great calculators. I bookmarked it. edited to add: I even bookmarked it on my phone which it where I need it most anyway.

  • Austin here.
  • I actually did measure from one bag to another. But I used a 1-cup measure. 1-cup = 16 tbsp. I counted how many cups I got, multiplied by 16 then divided by 3. For my Devil's Food/Angel Food combo I came up with 40 servings and after putting it in the recipe builder and got 90 calories. I used Betty Crocker - Angel Food…
  • I have the shovel but I already got rid of the hookers. Cowboy hat 1/2 gallon coolant
