  • Thank You! Merry Christmas to you too! :flowerforyou:
  • Congrats!!! I especially love the snapshots of the summer shorts. Awesome! I've been at a plateau for quite sometime, I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the inspiration!
  • Sounds delicious. I copied and pasted it! Thanks.
  • For our part-time monthly travel job and for our personal vacations, we (my husband and I) often times pack an insulated lunch box and picnic basket with fresh fruit--grapes, strawberries, blueberries, melon, carrots, broccoli, kale, raw asparagus, boiled eggs, can or packet of tuna or chicken, Wasa light rye…
  • Enjoy your birthday and enjoy your birthday cake---even if it is a smaller portion. :flowerforyou:
  • Hi Shortie! LOL I'm 5' 1 1/2 inches tall. I'm always being called 'shortie'. I'd look forward to being friends on MFP. By the way, yesterday a friend of mine who is tall--5' 7" she and I went for a walk............I'm telling you my short little legs had to work at least twice as much as her one long stride with those long…

  • I've not heard of Miracle Noodles. Some time ago I read a post stating someone always substituted baked spaghetti squash for any type of noodle. Now when we have spaghetti our sauce is served over well baked spaghetti squash. Also, last night I tried a salad recipe calling for curly macaroni which would then be added to a…
  • WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFUL!!!! :flowerforyou:
  • Thanks Summer8it! I'll check it out. Wow, calories are way less than what our instructor said. I've not purchased a heart monitor yet. Collapsible hoola?? I'll have to check that out. THANKS! Betty in Minnesota
  • I exercise with a weighted hoola hoop. I've been doing it for about a year. Not every day though, sometimes I hoop, use the treadmill or go bicycling when weather permits. Question: When I took a class the instructor said that hoola hooping burns 10 calories per minute. MFP does not give you that many calories burned. What…
  • Thanks! I just copied and printed this wonderful list. :drinker:
  • I too find this to be true. So I use the produce up quickly when I shop at Aldi's. My husband has a German background so we do like purchasing some of their German foods. Scrumptious! The new thing for me when going to Aldi's for the first time, was putting a quarter in the slot to get a shopping cart. Of course you get…
  • A grandson of ours has celiac disease. Since he has been on a gluten free diet he has grown so much!! His body was not able to absorb the nutrients he was getting from his 'regular' diet. As his Grandparents we are very aware of his special diet needs when he comes to our place for a visit. Some of his gluten free foods…
  • Phenomenal!!! You Rock! And may you have your 'little one' and be a happy healthy Mama.
  • I am trying your sauce for pork chops this evening. We have a guest coming. He, too, is on MFP.

  • We just had this for our lunch today. My husband was skeptical but he absolutely LOVED it!!! He said he would eat this any time! It is also a good recipe for us because we have a grandson with celiac disease and he needs to eat a gluten free diet. He would be able to eat this pizza crust and have the SAME as everyone else!…
  • I copied and saved this recipe. I'll add zucchini to my shopping list and try this recipe. Thanks!!! :flowerforyou:
  • THANK YOU!! Looks delicious. I'll try it this weekend! Yay! :drinker:
  • Thanks for the recipe! I made this for our luncheon guests today. One of our guests is a diabetic and he LOVED the cookies. I did put some cinnamon in the banana & quick oat mixture. Our guest requested the recipe. Nice! I calculated 60 calories per cookie--it made 8 cookies.
  • I'm from MN. In Winter months I use my weighted hoola hoop and the treadmill a lot. However, I look out my window and every single day who do I see?? Some Mr. Faithful out there running no matter what the temp or weather conditions are!! But I'm not him and just can't or won't let myself do that!! I'll stick to hoola…
  • EARNEST: Congratulations!!! Well Done and you have an awesome Godly Cheering Team: ***God was dealing with me on whether or not I really believed that my 'body is a temple'. I Corinthians 3:16 'Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?' If I truly believed that, then why was I…
  • A PHOTO did it for me! I didn't feel 'fat'. BUT I had my photo taken with a group of Navy Moms and when someone posted the photo on a website, I thought, 'Oh my God, I'm FAT!' I felt embarrassed for being so fat....... Hello......... I want to be proud of myself for the way I look and feel. My adult children have praised…
  • I chuckled when I read this because my sandals started to get really sloppy on my feet!! I paid a lot of money for those sandals. I discovered they were sloppy because I had lost weight in my FEET!!! I had to tighten the strap on my sandals. I just never thought about my feet getting smaller!!! But hey, I like it!! No…
  • I copied and saved this recipe. Sounds excellent! Thanks!
  • I still claim to be 5' 1 1/2"!! I started out on MFP at 171 lbs., Currently weigh 141 lbs. I would like to see 129 on the scale!! Just Because! :blushing:
  • I reward myself by going to a thrift store to purchase smaller sized clothing! I don't want to buy anything brand new until I reach my desired weight. Well......except for swim wear and underwear--that I buy new! Just because!
  • I do log everything, including spices & my herb teas. I've learned some of my herb teas also have potassium in which I am tracking. Logging in my spices also has taught me that certain spices have other nutrients in which I was totally unaware of. It's been educational!! I log my herb teas knowing they have 0 calories but…
