I agree with the other poster that its based on your free time. Also, I like Insanity more because you don't need any equipment. Whereas with P90X you need the pull up bar or resistance bands. I have used both programs before and enjoy them both. They both supply you with an intense workout, but my favorite is Insanity.

I have run numerous 5Ks and a couple 10Ks but never anything longer and its been awhile. I started back up running a couple months ago, hope to do a 10K this summer and planning for my first Half in September. Feel free to add me, also!

I am in the same boat as you. I had lost 35 lbs and was within 10 lbs of my goal so I stopped logging. I started back to college plus working full time and told myself I didn't have time to work out. Couple that with eating poorly again and I have gained between 10 to 15 lbs back in the past 4 months, depending on the day.…

I am also running my first half this fall on September 22. I have run a 5K and 10K and max distance for me is also around 7.5 miles so far. I am using Hal's Novice 1 but may look at the Novice 2 training plan. His plans are 12 weeks long so I hope I am ready by then. I am excited. Does anyone else have any advice for first…
