I'll be starting Jan 4th :) It's awesome to read other peoples experiences! It almost sounds fun lol. I'm doing mine to hopefully help with mental clarity and junk food addiction - which began after quitting smoking almost two years ago.

I'll be starting my juicing soon, but I won't be counting calories. I know others do, but I'm going to juice to change my relationship with food. I don't want to count calories, points, kilojoules etc etc anymore - it makes me obsessed and depressed. So hopefully juicing will teach me to start listening to my body, by…

You won't necessarily gain any weight. Because you're in the habit of counting calories now and you're in a current routine. I quit smoking and put on a lot of weight, however I did not have any accountability - I wasn't watching what I was eating before and after quitting... I just basically didn't care about that, all I…

I went from 1290 to 1420 and put on weight *cry*. But I'm hoping this has a lot to do with TOTM..

I'm with you on that one, I have deactivated my facebook account - because I find it boring compared to what I read and learn on here!

I'm thinking of going to Zumba classes myself. I barely do any exercise, so I really need to get my butt into gear.

Once a week, every wednesday :) I don't want to obsess too much about the scales, but I also want the weekly accountability. I used to be a daily person - but I find that it starts to make me a tad too obsessive about whatever the number is that shows up.

I'm only starting to get into my own exercise regime, so I'm not the best person to offer advice on this subject. But maybe you could try taking measurements? You may not see anything on the scales, but receive all the information you need from a measuring tape :) Hopefully other people will be able to give you more…

Well said, I am one of those people that do not post often - but read to learn more to make sure I'm on the "right track". Thanks for posting, you have brought my stress levels down hehe

WOW!!!!!!!! Congratulations on your success!! Well done!

WW is a good program, teaches you about how to approach eating in moderation etc. However I'm a student, unable to afford the program - but I have had great success with them in the past. I actually find myfitnesspal keeps me just as accountable as WW - so I'm going to stick with this. I thought that counting points would…

Butter on toast or sandwiches, only because I feel like I'm wasting calories on something I can easily go without. One of my downfalls is soft drink and while I still would like to have it every now and then - I've replaced my craving for soft drink for peppermint tea (it took awhile lol!)
