Hi Everyone! I am so excited to see so many sleevers on here. I guess I'm an old timer, I've had my sleeve for 3.5 years. The holidays are always challenging food and exercise wise but I'm back on track and my gym bag is here at work with me today for the first time in awhile. I hope you don't mind me jumping on the thread…

Congrats and welcome aboard! It looks like I'm a long timer compared to many of you but it's a life long journey so I'd love to offer my support! A friend request is coming your way! Bettina

I just spent the last 20 minutes looking through your blog and I have to say, BRAVO! I really love your honestly and your approach to this whole journey. I'll be following your blog via email and would love to be MFP pals if you're adding to your list! I had my sleeve in '10 and have lost 100 so far- I'm working on my last…

Another Hello and Welcome! I had my sleeve done in '10 and have lost 100 lbs. I'm in the "want to lose another 10 lbs" category but also really happy where I am overall. Feel free to add me if you'd like another sleever on your friends list! :) Bettina

The makers of PB@ have a ton of recipes on their website, I love it for a peanut dipping sauce and definitely add it to my greek yogurt for additional flavor with a little stevia to sweeten the whole thing up. I am not tempted to mix it and eat it by the spoonful like I am regular PB so I find it to be a better option to…

My weight at surgery was 261. I'm currently 171 but had gotten down to 160 about a year and a half after surgery. I'm regrouping and aiming for a final weight of 150-155. I'm 39, 5'4", and hoping to see my goal by my 40th in July!:flowerforyou:

Hi There! We sound like weight loss twins! I also let the sliders creep back in and I am not happy about the weight that crept back on or the lack of tone I'm noticing since I stopped working out regularly. I posted yesterday that I'm doing a 3 day reset- liquid protein shakes, soup with unflavored protein powder, decaf…

Hello there! I'm 2 years 4 months post surgery and have lost a little over 90 lbs. I hit my -100 mark and slid back because I didn't work out for a few of months but I am back on track and steadily heading in the right direction! The VSG was definitely a fantastic decision for me and I am sure you will find it to be also.…

Congratulations, what a great attitude! It's definitely important to maximize your losses with exercise early on, I slipped up on that and am now working on "those last 15" that should have been gone a year ago! You are headed in the right direction and are already a success! Great job!

I was told by my doc to take 2 weeks off and I did, even though I have a desk job. It took me that long to get my energy back and to get myself into a good routine with making shakes, drinking, and starting to eat. I went back to work on my birthday, which happened to be the same day I could start on soft foods so it was a…

Good morning, I'm happy to find some other VSG folks on here. I am almost 2 years out from surgery and struggling with hunger lately. I started exercising more regularly and this might have something to do with it but I feel like I'm hungry much faster than I used to be after eating. I'm relatively new to MFP (definitely…

Hi there, I also drink shakes made with Pure Protein that I get from Walmart. The nutrition stats are good for our needs which is really important. I have found their chocolate flavor is a good hot chocolate drink in the morning and I add their vanilla to my fruit shakes for some variety. I also like their chocolate peanut…

Hi Everyone, I'm so excited to have found this group on MFP and I look forward to getting to know you! My name is Bettina and I had my sleeve done on July 13, 2010 by Dr. Christina Li here in Baltimore. I've lost 98 lbs and am steadily working on the last 13 to get me to my "happy weight" of 150. My doctor, NP,…
