Exactly!!! We can buy fries in the freezer section for $1.89 kg fresh spuds are $6kg..... But the average person that's not thinking of nutrition or health or is short on money walks into the supermarket....thinks of something for kids to snack on buys a block of chocolate, bag of chips and bottle of soft drink....under $5…

Yesterday I brought apples $6kg, Bananas $4kg a rock melon $3.90 a pineapple $5 and a honeydew melon $5.90....i don't put a price on my families health so I buy it! But when I walked into the supermarket at the front was a stand of half price chocolate blocks $2.20each and big…

Problem is our supermarkets will still have a soft drink special at 1/2 price.......perhaps we need to stop the big supermarkets from putting these items on special????
-
A 2lt bottle of Coke.....$0.99 with a 10% sugar tax $1.10......block of chocolate $2.50 with tax $2.75 I don't think it's going to make a difference!!! A kg of apples about 5-6 apples $5, a rock melon $4.90 each.....How about we have a fresh food subsidy? I can feed my kids on junk after school for under $5 and it would…

Yes I'm in Australia  and Yes I have asked the pharmacist he said it won't hurt but wasn't able to answer wether it would be of benefit now compared to after the course was finished, and couldn't be certain that the good bacteria would live long enough to be of benefit while I was taking the…

I honestly don't know of any doctors here that do that, my doctor usually has a 2-3 week wait just to see him specifically. If it's something more serious you just see any old doctor that may have a spare appointment and are usually put on the cancellation list and have to wait for a phone call to get a same day…

I have a heart defect, antibiotics are a precaution to prevent blood infections when I'm going to the dentist, certain operations etc at the moment I have a toothache and that's the easiest way of getting a blood infection so I have to take them. I do have to under go heart surgery in the near future but as it stands the…

Omg there's some crap on google when trying to look for info on this stuff!

I must remember to start seeing dentist before I get a toothache not once I get one! Then it's only a one off big dose not like I'm doing now!
-
Yeah I was thinking that myself, I also have yogurt and yakult....all as probiotics and oats, tomatoes and green veggies for prebiotics Once I finish these then 2 more big one off doses as I have dentist appointments.....over it all actually, my poor tummy!
-
Yes we have those but they are $32 and are the only ones I can get in the fridge, not cheap especially if my tablets are only going to kill them before they do any good  there's other brands on the shelf half the price but wether they are any good is another question
-
I've just cooked up some porridge to help with the fiber lol yeah we have problems like that here with postage very expensive!
-
Haha I had to google what half those things were, I eat lots of raw veggies but will see if I can get/make the other things...thanks
-
Aren't they supposed to be kept refrigerated?
-
I'm not worried about taking them, they are expensive and I don't want to be taking them if the antibiotic is just killing the good bacteria, I love yogurt and brought a heap of that yesterday we also make our own...yummy! The topic is, is it a waste of time taking them while on antibiotics.....my question has been…
-
No you can't just call your doctor here, you get told to make an appointment...doctors are too busy to take calls as well as seeing patients
-
Sounds like I can take them whilst on antibiotics without worrying I'm flushing them down the toilet. @ClubSilencio it's 61.5min and I've just found out that's why I have to take them 3 times a day  thanks for the heads up
-
I'd have to go back to the doctor for that and doctors visits are expensive and he is over an hours drive away then waiting time, drive back there's my whole day gone. I've been told to take them before and I've been told not to take them before.....general consensus is take them but when do I take them as they are not…
-
Ok I'll look I take them 3x a day
