1) Had to change seats on a roller coaster in front of my daughters 2) Was told everyday what a "fat and ugly" person I was when I was married 3) Tired of being alone...and let's face it, over weight guys are overlooked. Doesn't matter how good of a person you are or how much you have to offer a woman...they (sorry about…

Bruins all the way!!!! (Although I did think they played crappy last night...)

Can't be said enough...how much you weigh is not always the best indication of getting healthy or motivation. Look at your excersize from when you started till today. I've watched the duration get longer, the workouts get more intense, and your posts about how you feel and what you can do steadily increase as well. Dude,…

Me: 6 LNS: 0 (Finally found the thread again)

The new thread, we posting that in the public forums vs in the LNS area? Just making sure that's where we want to do it.

Me: 12 LNS: 3* But, this comes with a disclaimer. I'm counting last night as a LNS. But, since I have been going to the gym, which I go to at night, I have wanted to have a small snack when I get home from working out. So, I think I'll change my time to allow for a small snack after a workout. :-)

Thanks for all the replies...at least now I have an idea what would be recommended if I was to go with one. (An idea on where to start at least)

Yeah, I'm not really set on one, but I'd definitely like to be more accurate than what's on this site or the apps on the phone that estimate calories based on average times, distance and such. I'm just as happy setting my goals based on distance and just bettering myself when I'm out hiking or walking or running.

Me: 7* LNS: 2 Last night was tough but then I thought about posting here....and it worked! So, I brought my left over cake in to work today to "spread the wealth" a little. LOL! So Lul, if it's a healthy snack, it doesn't count towards a LNS?

Made these over the weekend. Both myself and my kids enjoyed them (although I watered theirs down). Thanks!

That's awesome! Haven't hit any milestone like that yet, but I can't wait to. I kept one pair of jeans from a while ago to use as a gauge. LOL! And yeah, the people here are great. I haven't felt this motivated ever.

Me: 4* LNS: 0 But, tonight is going to be tough. Going out for a while...hope I can resist after getting home. :ohwell:

Wow, that's great!

It's the most useless day out there. The concept of V-Day should be an everyday thing if you have someone in your life, not a once a year thing. Kinda gets under my skin when people get all giddy on that day and do things out of the ordinary... But hey, that's just my opinion. With that being said, I'll grab my daughters a…

What works for me? Haven't really tried to fight it actually, I used to let it run it's course. With that said, I have decided that it's not alright to do that any more. So now, I'll have to keep track of the habits more closely. I do know, like you said, that when I do get in some physical activity, that I am more likely…

Noticed most of the people in here are women...hope there's room for a male LNS... I tend to go in spurts...where I'll be able to nail it for a week or so and then I lose the battle for a couple days. Hoping this will help me stay motivated. Started on the site a couple days ago, so for me, it's LNS: 0 Me: 2*

I have to admit, that participating here has already renewed my motivation. Thanks for the replies and the additions!
