  • I've lost about 40 pounds and I still haven't gone down a solid pant size. I'm starting to fit in some of the next size down, but we all know women's sizes aren't exactly consistent either. So my "big" pants are getting to be a bit too big but not unwearable, and I still can't fit into some of the next size down. Does that…
  • This thread has been really helpful! I've been feeling like a failure for wanting to take a break for no other reason than I'm just tired of it right now. My plan was to take a break, still log, and then come back in a week or so refreshed and ready to recommit. This thread helped me feel like that's ok! Thanks OP for…
  • About 73 (had a backslide this week or it would have been 70) but I started at 305 at the end of January so I think I'm doing ok :)
  • Great job! I have the same thought process as you when in comes to food. I'm strictly CICO and for once it's actually easy to stick to. You look amazing!
  • Preach! That's what finally changed for me this time. I'm no longer on a diet, I'm just eating at a deficit and trying to make incremental lifestyle changes that include moving more and portion control. Not only is it working, I don't hate it, and it's sustainable. I didn't gain 100lbs overnight, and to expect for it to…
  • Hi! I have well over 100 to lose lol. I started at 305 and I'm trying to get down to near 150. Feel free to add me :D
  • Amazingly I define a bikini body as one on which a bikini fits.....and equally amazingly they make bikinis in my size, therefore I have a bikini body. (And I wear a size 20 before anyone cares to guess). Though I do prefer a high waisted bottom for my own comfort.
  • Well I had been hiking and exploring all the nature parks around me but now it's hot and buggy so I've been looking for something else. I just tried out an Aqua Zumba class last week and it was a blast! I think I'm going to try and stick with that until the kids get out of school in June, then I don't know what I'm going…

  • I've set goals for myself based on weight limits of things I enjoy, or used to enjoy. Like once I get below 250 I want to go horseback riding again.
  • My pants are falling off. I recently had to go up a size so now I'm back to normal fat lol. Still, Yay!
  • Turned out to be a moot point today lol. I got busy and haven't even come close to my regular calorie goal for the day :/ Still thanks for answering, it will be good to know for tomorrow :)
  • Thanks. That would seem a lot more reasonable. :)
  • Thanks :) I miss my fitbit. My kids got ahold of it and now I find the band here, or the charger there but never everything in one place lol. I'm about 295 lbs now so I know I burn more calories than an average size person but 800 cal an hour just seems ridiculous. At the same time I don't want to eat too little and fall…
  • One thing that has really saved me last year (I have 2 kids, go to school full time and work/volunteer in the lab a crazy amount of hours in a week) are those Bel Vita breakfast packs. 230ish calories but they keep me full for a long time if I can't get away or forget to bring a lunch.
  • This is my favorite site for meal prep ideas. http://onceamonthmeals.com/
  • George Carlin. And I will probably be crushed when Mel Brooks goes.
  • I really need to invest in a HRM. I opted for the fitbit, but I think I really wanted a HRM :/ I hope the burn was higher because I had a lovely pad thai for dinner and a few beers. I didn't go that far over, but being under would have been better, ha ha. Thanks!
  • Well holy heck that was hard. Awesome but hard. I logged it as surfing but it only gave me 340 cals on fmp and 232 on fitbit. I'm more exhausted than I have been in a long time even on gym days when I pushing myself so I think those numbers are low, but I don't really know so I'll just leave it. I'm wiped.
  • Thanks. I've never been surfing either. This should be interesting! I can't wait.
  • For anyone interested: I turned off the calorie estimation and that has solved all my problems. I LOVE this little device now. No more frustrating fluctuations.
  • Nice. Now that's stuck in my head.
  • Once I turned off calorie estimation on my FLEX I like it a lot more now. I have worn it swimming, in the shower, running, at work and it's held up through all of that. I especially like that the band is designed to really stay on. Yes it takes a little work to get it closed the first time but after that it's no big deal.…
  • mfp has me set to 1350 at sedentary but my fitbit compensates for my actual activity level and even on days I don't work out it bumps it up to around 1500. I generally keep to my limits :)
  • Anyone is welcome to add me. I started at 279, currently 257 working to 150ish :)
  • I just keep telling myself that if I give up I'll NEVER get there. Nothing worth doing is easy and no one is going to wave a magic wand over me and make me fit overnight, but if I just. keep. going. I WILL get there. And you will too :)

  • I've had mine for about a week and at first I didn't care for it and thought I had wasted my money. There is definitely a learning curve to it if you've never used a fitbit or activity monitor before. I got my first weekly report last night and was actually pretty impressed with the breadth of information it gave me. I was…
  • I was recently told about this bra sizing method which put me from a 40 F all the way up to a 40 K....The new bras fit better so there must be something to it. If you measure your breasts with a bra on, all you are doing is measuring the size of the bra.
  • Following because I have it too. I just assumed it would go away when I lost the weight, but I've pretty much always had it, even when I was a lot thinner so IDK.
