Thank you for the question because I've been frustrated with this too. And thanks for the tips. I didn't know I could sort on my Android & I suspected I could use that to put the recipes on top so thanks Thelinbc for confirming my suspicion!

I'm using Simple Truth (Kroger) Whey & Integrated Whey protein. I tried 2 different plant based powders and I didn't like either one of them.

I'm with you on the building better habits agenda. I've mastered my daily yoga habit, now I need to master hitting my minimum daily steps habit!

Nobody tells you that through this journey you can learn so much about yourself. I've learned that I can stay on track easier when my life isn't full of chaos (like it was this weekend with the weather and power outages) but the most important thing I've learned about me, is that I can trust myself! I trust myself to get…

I have a lot of cards and memorabilia that I've saved over the years too. I've kept them thinking when I'm much older, it'll be fun to go thru them all while sitting in my rocking chair! lol My hubby doesn't like to part with things either. He turns 70 this year and he still won't part with his college textbooks or "nik…

I'm finally comfortable in "skinny" leg walking pants. Normally I'd wear at least a boot cut for some bag on my legs & hips! "Hips Don't Lie"

I work at home so I will take a mid day office break and go to the gym across the street. Or, a walk through the neighborhood if it's not raining.

Just reading my emails now 9:30PM...had a busy day, a lot of walking going door to door reminding people to vote. Then a walk to the store to pick up things for dinner. 6.2 miles, I'll sleep well tonight.

My husband leaves today for the weekend so I've got the house to myself. I'll turn the music up and dance. Going to the gym today too.

I got on my incredibly dusty elliptical today for 30 minutes and it felt pretty good.

Went shopping today so got in my 30 mins. Going door 2 door encouraging people to mail in their ballots before 11/8 this weekend. Hope to get in 4+ miles on Saturday, then out to Halloween Town on Sunday. Should be a lot of walking this weekend, hope the weather cooperates.

Set some alarms on my Fitbit to remind me to get up and move about. :)

Had a busy day today and managed 7 of 9 hours with 250+ steps....got in 10,689 altogether. It's a good feeling when I hit 10k.

Yesterday, we began the long process of digging out my husband's office at home. LOL. He retired 10/2014 and dropped piles of things on the floor that came from his office. Today I'm going to finish up in there...just need to dust, unpack books and put them on the shelves. Tonight we'll be celebrating our Grandson's 14th…

I've been on MFP for quite awhile but just joined a few groups in October and have started posting to my diary fairly regularly. I'm doing pretty well during the week and I've found a suitable combination of foods that provide low cal/low carb/low fat sustenance however, I'm not doing well on weekends. Since I've been…

"No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow your progress, you are still way ahead of everyone else that isn't trying." Unknown author. I like this quote because it's important for me to remember that even when I screw up, I'm still personally doing better because I've stuck to my plan before my screw up and I'll get…

I have torn meniscus in both of my knees which was diagnosised via MRI in 2010. I slowed way down (gave up dancing :ohwell: ) but I'm finally having surgery on 12/28. You may want to check this out: http://www.medicinenet.com/torn_meniscus/article.htm Be healthy.

I've often thought about the ball for a tv watching chair for "core" reasons too....butt is still on the couch! I need a better ball (one that doesn't leak air so quickly).

What do you do for fun? Do you make time for fun anymore? Our lives can't be all work, work, work, stresss, stress, stress: it'll kill you if you don't go insane first! Sounds like you've rec'd some good advice from people and some crappy advice too.....you can't just clean house all day! More than anything it sounds like…

If you love housework then yes you could do it constantly. For me, there isn't anything more boring than cleaning a house. You sound like a Stepford Wife.....more power to you but it's not for all of us "women". Your suggestion of trying a new hairdo and nails: that's up my alley and is good advice. Take your down time and…
