10-17-11 13 miles. 108/200 Average speed max was 13.8. (on the mostly downhill out part, but the mostly uphill back part pulled me down to 12.4) I am still happy. Was averaging 10.5 mph

10-15-11 95/100 I set my bike up differently. I turned the handlebar risers upside down. This allowed me to drop the Mountainbike style handlebars by about 5 inches. I averaged about 1.5 miles per hour increase. Wooohooo!! Made my ride 10 minutes shorter. ie...faster

I can say that I i will go for 200 this month. 10 a day 5 days a week, plus 20 each day on weekend, if I am good. Should be doable. 10-1-11 21/200.

I can't ride in this heat. I had to quit. I am having trouble breathing while it is so hot and humid. 114 yesterday. Set a high record. Will try to exercise when it cools off some.

Ok, I will put my bike back together. It is in 4 pieces still. I will go ride in the morning. With me going back to work, I will set my goal at 250 and see how that goes.

June 30 14 miles. 289/400. Had I been at home doing my 21 mile ride, I would have made this challenge. Oh well, I made a good effort.

My goal is ZERO. Hiking instead on vacation through South Dakota, Yellowstone, Colorado, and possibly the Grand Canyon (not the path down, I would never make it back up). Enjoy cycling. I'll join the August challenge.

June 13 21 miles. 127/400. I don't think I am going to make 400, but will try really hard to push it to the max. @Bryanair - That ride looks scary. At first it looked like a wheel chair bike. Guess not. New Technology. hmmmm.....guess it is supposed to go faster?

June 11 rode 21 miles and hit a dog and crashed. 106 miles done/ 400 miles. I hate evil stupid dogs that chase cyclists.

Rode to town for a doctor's appointment. They scheduled a morning appointment, so I said, phooey on that, I will just have to ride my bike to town so I can get my ride in before it gets hot. My husband just went to a nice Japanese Restaurant in Little Rock AR. He asked the waiter how much the Kobe Beef was per pound. He said it was only $135 a pound. :noway: I guess the Earthquake and tsunami have had a major impact on that market.
