My birthday is December 30 and I have always hated it! when I was young, I would get "this is for your birthday AND Christmas" WTF? Why did I deserve to get jilted when everyone else got BOTH? I had never heard of them until I saw them when they opened for Social Distortion last weeeknd here in southern California. They were amazing and put on a great show! They made fans out of my husband and I!

YAY for meatless Mondays! One of my favorite new things to eat is broccoli slaw. I put it in a pan with some water to steam, add garlic, pepper, a little Italian seasoning, and pepper flakes, then add some pasta sauce. It is way yummy! It's like spaghetti without the carbs and calories :)

I too have this problem. I set my fiber intake to 25g/day (which I read is what women should get) and have it set as one of the nutients I keep tabs on. I notice when I get 20g+ I'm good. Anything below that then I start to have 'issues'. Hope this helps :)

A few things I do to keep my grocery bill down is I buy frozen boneless, skinless chicken thighs instead of breasts because they are less expensive, although they are a little bit higher in cals. I also buy large bags of frozen veggies so they don't go bad as quickly, but I do keep fresh lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, etc…
