Thanks for sharing your stories and I'm sorry you were in similar positions. Thanks for your strength and wisdom! I agree that open communication is key and I know that it's honestly his problem not mine.

I'm 5'8'' and lost almost 30 lbs. I'm down about a size and a half. It's tough being this tall! My college roommate, who is 5'1, would lose 20lbs and drop 3 sizes.

Wow, this is exactly what I needed to hear right now. I was just about to post how challenging it is to avoid the unhealthy foods people bring into my office. While I didn't practice as much self-control today as I would have liked, I didn't completely fall of the wagon. Next time, I will remember this!

I saw on Pinterest that a woman kept her largest size, her size when she lost half of her weight she planned on losing, and her size at her goal weight. She laid the smallest on top so she could see how far she had come. Other than that, get rid of your bigger sizes. I did.

This happens to me all the time. I have low-level allergies which doesn't help when I run. I take Claritin almost daily and use a Neti pot sometimes. I saw an allergist because I was have a rough time with my allergies He prescribed me a nasal spray which has helped me tremendously. This is something that is pretty common…

This is what I thought but the research doesn't really make this clear. I avoid cookies/cakes/white flour based breads and eat lots of fruits and veggies. When I log in my fruits into MFP it pretty much puts me over my daily sugar level.

I'd love to join. I'd love to hit my goal weight for my birthday July 30th.

Thanks for all the advice! This is my first post and I'm just blown away by all the amazing responses. I'm eating between 1500 and 1600 calories per day and feel great. So, I'll keep doing what I'm doing but I may add an afternoon snack on heavier workout days. Thanks again!
