  • bump! How big was the pan you used?
  • My favorite drunk college food, hands down.
  • Absolutely this. I'm 23 and working on paying for college right now after graduating with a crippling amount of debt, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Maybe I just like to be independent, but I have no intentions of paying for my kids' college. They will have to be responsible and learn to manage their time and money…
  • I live in South Dakota and we get some really nasty winters (well, just weather in general). I would much rather run in the winter than the summer, due to allergies and hot humid temps. I usually tend to scout the routes I plan on running on my way home from work, to check for any problem areas with ice or for places that…
  • Ugh, I've had the worst problem with late night snacking lately. And by late night I mean 3 am I woke up for no reason and found myself in the kitchen eating spoonfuls of nutella. I have absolutely no willpower when I'm in zombie mode. To combat it? I suppose I try not to wake up in the middle of the night, or at least if…
  • This sounds awful! I got my Implanon put in in April and two months later had my period for almost an entire month. Now I haven't seen it in a while. I don't like how unpredictable it is, but I love that I literally have to do nothing. OP, I was on the pill for about 7 years prior to my implant and never had any issues…
  • I read books when I'm on the elliptical for the same reason I listen to audiobooks when I run. It helps me not talk myself out of continuing the workout. The best part about using a Kindle is that I can blow the font up super huge, so no matter how much bouncing I'm doing I can still keep my place.
  • Hahahaha, downloading these ASAP
  • I'm like 95% positive that Jon Snow is the Song of Ice and Fire.
  • It's like the peanut butter push-up of my dreams
  • This is a great idea!
  • I work at a kennel and it's just awful the number of severely overweight pets that come through. The owner of the kennel is usually pretty blunt with them and will tell them straight up their dog is fat and then discuss what to do about it. Most people are pretty responsive and genuinely didn't think their pets were…
  • Let's just say there was a happy dance in my household after the red wedding. Every time I got to a Catelyn chapter I put the book down. "Oh poor me, they took my husband waah waaah waah. What will I ever do without my Ned. I can't cry, I have to be strong blah blah blah blah" Ugh, she's the worst.
  • Ugh, wait until Cersei's chapters in book 4. My boyfriend thinks A Feast for Crows should have just been called Cersei's Moonblood. She's crazy.
  • I reallllllly disliked reading Sansa's chapters before I got to A Storm of Swords. She was just so vapid and I just really really wanted her to punch Joffrey in the d***, or stand up for herself, or anything. I know I know I know she was doing what she had to do to stay alive, and she's not even a teenager yet, but it was…
  • This is exactly how I feel. I'm pretty passionate about the issue. They put lime into the Skittles Darkside, and it tastes just like the original. Solution: buy a bag of each, sort, combine and voila: original skittles!
  • I eat Flat Out flat breads like they're going out of style.
  • Yes yes yes! Seriously, Lawry's is the best. And garlic, too.
  • Hi! I'm Erika, and I just discovered my love of running this past February. I used to think I hated running, but I'm pretty sure that was only from a few traumatic experiences running the mile in elementary school and the fact that when I did run, I used a treadmill (ugh). I'm training for my first marathon (September 8th)…
  • I tend to be on the claustrophobic side, and it was fine for me. It's not really that small, and the window helps. Like the poster said below, don't eat or drink anything for 2 hours ahead of time. I don't know if it's like this everywhere, but I had to dress in spandex for mine-- a sports bra and compression shorts. They…

  • Have you actually calculated your TDEE using In Place of a Roadmap on here? I had a FitBit a while back and the numbers it gave me were absolute crap. It had me eating way less than my BMR. Here's the link: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 It had set me at around 1400…
  • Definitely lethargy, and I would get really tired really fast when I was out on running.

  • Run your long runs slower than you think you need to. You'll burn yourself out if you try to run everything at race pace. It seems backwards, but it's true! Have fun and stick to your training plan. It might seem like a good idea to run as far as you can the first week, but it's definitely not.
  • Hello everyone! I'm Erika, and I recently discovered that I don't hate running like I thought I did for many, many years. As it turns out, I only hate running on a treadmill or other people telling me to run. I'm training for my first marathon on September 8, and it's been an incredibly rewarding experience so far. I'm…
  • I usually log it under circuit training.
  • Run with your dogs instead of walking!
