  • What a difference 30 pounds makes! You look amazing, and so happy!
  • a little sesame oil, some soy sauce and a clove on minced garlic, brush it on them and put them on the grill. While grilling sprinkle on some sesame seeds. They are amazing!

  • We did the same for my mom during her chemo, she couldn't eat much more than a few tablespoons of food at a time, so adding coconut oil was good for packing in extra calories. It also seemed to settle her stomach and help her keep food down. I use it on my skin and hair, it makes an awesoem moisturizer. Mix it with some…
  • granola... I was getting an organic, high fiber kind, thinking I was being all well behaved eating it for breakfast. 1 cup of it with 1/2 cup milk was just over 700 calories. (obviously different types of granola aren't as high)
  • this, lol
  • I wouldn't wear either, I think it will just end up looking too busy. The red shoes and belt will already stand out. I would get a can of sally hansen airbrush legs, lol, that stuff is amazing! Make up for your legs :)
  • Girls just want to have fun - my all-time favourite movie!
  • Fast food and delivery. I was sick for a really long time and wasn't up to cooking, and my husband was working out of town, so I was constantly going through drive-thrus or ordering in pizza or chinese. It got to the point where I was getting fast food sometimes 3 times a day, I gained so much weight so fast, and got…
  • Just the huge portion sizes, every time I have tried to eliminate something, I end up binging on it later on.
  • Try the couch to 5k, someone here suggested it a couple months ago and it's been great for me.
  • None that you have, but I am very allergic to pineapple and oysters. Didn't seem like such a big deal when i found out, til I realized that calcium carbonate is made from oysters, and added to a ton of stuff! The pineapple one is tricky too, it's used to sweeten a lot of different things. My dad has celiac disease, for the…
  • I agree with the black out blinds and melatonin, but even with both of those I rarely get to sleep before 4 am. My husband got me a white noise machine a few years ago and that really helped, not so much with the falling asleep, but with staying asleep. If I don't have it on I wake up at least 50% more often. My sister…
  • Pricesmart, Safeway and Save On Foods all carry them in the salad section.
  • There's a good chance that a lot of the people congratulating him didn't even read the post. I'm totally guilty of that, I just read the heading, look at the pictures and say 'congrats'.
  • Order one that fits you now, and keep losing, they are easy to have taken in! Just make sure you have an alteration appointment set up ahead of time, in this area, getting an appointment with a decent seamstress takes weeks.
  • In all my years of running I never tried foam rolling, but I bought one yesterday after reading a few suggestions on here to do so. I actually cried, haha, but if I understand correctly, the more it hurts the more you need it?
  • I have been checked for blood clots a few times, went through a type of chemo last year that puts me at higher risk, but it was one of the first things my dr thought when I went to him about the pain. Thanks :)
  • I'm going to try and get in Monday to see if he can refer me to one, thanks! I've had the x-rays and MRI, nothing showed up, I will ask about a contrast one as well. Thank you everyone!
  • I get the same thing from a pinched nerve in my back, according to my dr, started up after I was in a car accident, it happens when I exercise a lot. Massaging my upper legs and lots of stretching makes it go away for me. Going to a massage therapist or a chiro has helped in the past, but it keeps coming back.
  • Expelling a dog's anal glands, sometimes it it 'squirts' and will get in my hair. I hate those days, haha.
  • The Oregon Coast is gorgeous!
  • It never occurred to me the story might not be true... lol. My boss fully believed it, and I just accepted it when she passed it on to the rest of the shop. There was a lot in the news around the time about a groomer using a heated kennel dryer that killed two collies, until now I never thought that the client may have…
  • Oh man, the West Coast has the nastiest pizza! (although, I do love artichokes on thin crust). We have given up on trying to order it from anywhere and expect something yummy, so we make our own. I like Euro style pizza, thin crust, sparser toppings, and you don't have to share it... :) Mushrooms, prosciutto, goats cheese…

  • My sister was horribly addicted to pepsi through high school and uni, it's what kept her going really. She'd easily drink 4 cans a day, for someone who only weighs 110, that's a lot :) She wouldn't believe any of us that she was addicted, until we went camping for 7 days and didn't bring any pop at all with us, she was…
  • The first grooming shop I worked in had a client that killed 3 puppies by putting them in the clothes dryer. She figured that's what we used, since she had heard us use the term 'dryer' for dogs. Some people really are *that* dumb.
  • Check out Arabic, Hungarian or Icelandic if you want complicated :) English actually wasn't so hard to learn, structure wise. Just some of the words, it's hard getting used to 'maid' not being the same as 'made'.
  • I am SO glad to hear I'm not the only one that has happened to! Had a client once ask me out, he was super nice/good looking etc, asked if I wanted to go to a newer restaurant in the city that I had been hearing about. Needless to say, there were 13 other people at dinner with us, all trying to get me to buy into their…
  • I had a friend back in high school that got a kidney problem from drinking too much water, according to her dr it was because she was drinking huge amounts in one sitting. She had one of those 'daily amount' bottles, holds 64 oz, and she would sit there and force herself to guzzle the whole thing in under half an hour .…
  • I carry mine really well, obviously I look big, but even my own husband thought I was lying through my teeth when I told him what I really weighed at my highest. I had to get on the scale and prove it to him, (and he's seen me naked, haha). Sadly, it also means that as I lose weight, it takes a lot before you can see a…
