I never noticed that...but I love that one! That might be my favorite HIIT out of all of them.

Sorry Robyn, I just noticed your post. But to answer you, I would think that you can burn more calories with the gloves on just because of the weight. Im still without a heart rate monitor at this point. Im about to cave and splurge on a Polar. Once I get one I can test the calorie burn for you. If you did want the gloves…

Yes, I noticed that too!! As soon as I take them off my arms feel sooo light and it kind of makes me want to put them back on lol

Me too!! Even before I knew she was Chalene's sister I was always watching her.

I recently signed up to be a Beachbody coach so she was going over the business with me. She was super nice!

I had a similar problem. I was 6 weeks into Turbo Fire when my DVD player decided it didn't want to work anymore. It was a week or two before I ended up getting a new one so I ended up starting over from day 1. I guess it depends on how long of a break you take...if its only been a week I would say you can pick up where…

That could be accurate. I did a Turbo Fire workout yesterday and for 30 minutes I burned 510 calories. If it helps Im 5'3" and 137ish. Granted Turbo Jam isn't as super intense as Turbo Fire but its close.
-
Absolutely! All Turbo-ers welcome :-) Have you noticed any changes yet?

Mindy- I think I might have to do some Turbo Jam this weekend too just to give my body a little preview of what the next 12 weeks will be like!

I just bought Jillian Michaels vanilla whey protein powder--just $10 at Walmart. Yesterday I tried it with a cup of fat free milk but today I added a little Hershey's lite syrup for some flavor and that definitely helped.

Thank you for all of the great ideas!! Im not really a fan of Greek yogurt so I feel like thats another one that would be forced down. I ended up going to Walmart on my lunch and picked up some Jillian Michaels vanilla whey protein powder (since it was only $10) so Im going to start experimenting with some morning shakes.

My arms are killing me from yesterday. Should I just not use the weights as much for today's workout or try and work through it?
-
I started this morning too! What are everyone's plan as far as rest days? My plan is to do 10 days on level 1, rest 1 day, 10 days level 2, rest 1 day and then 10 days level 3.
-
Well the problem is with the Wii it has a set schedule so I'd really like to stick to it. It has 3 rest days a week so I try to do other things at least 2 of those rest days.

I'll have to keep shopping around then. The Polar monitor I found doesn't track calories and thats really what Im looking for. Thanks for all the input!

I have Just Dance 2 and 3 and I love them both. Like someone else said, you dont even realize you're working out. I also just got EA Sports Active 2 (on sale right now at Walmart for $10) and I love it already. It comes with a heart rate monitor and resistance bands. For the most part it is hands free and you dont really…

Yes please!

Im down 2 pounds from yesterday. Could it be because I cut 8 inches off of my hair yesterday? Either way, I'll take it!

I just got EA Active 2 on Friday and started a 3 week challenge. I did day 1 on Friday and because of the way they set up the schedule, Saturday was supposed to be a rest day. Well since I had just gotten the game, of course I wanted to play it on Saturday. Big mistake. After doing it 3 days in a row my body is aching.…

I bought the gloves from Walmart that are 1.5 pounds each. Does anyone else find it difficult to do a good speedbag when wearing them?
-
I heard Push It when I was taking a shower the other day. I had to stop myself from doing the moves. I would have been out of comission from Turbo for a while!

I understand why you would think it wouldn't be a good idea but it's been working for me. Oh, and there's this: http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/recipes/healthy-eating/superfoods/chocolate-milk-after-workout/
