Welcome to MFP. You can add me if you want to . This a good site with positive support.

I think it comes down to you're comfort. If you feel comfortable wearing one then go for it. It doesn't matter how people view you. It's how you feel in it.
-
I usually try to plan ahead. I also try to pack my lunch most days. There's not alot of healthy choices in my town.

39 here. You are welcome to add me if you want. Sheila

I think you will transition well. I still use WW but use MFP for the support because I can't afford the meetings. I still log in my calories though to compare with my points. I haven't had any problems with the differences yet.

Looking forward to not having to buy plus size clothes.

Also I forgot to point out not all schools are equal, some are serving more filing foods while others still are not. These are the schools who need help in learning how to make the new guidlines work for the benefit of the children.
-
Yes the new guidlines are different this year. I work within a school and run an after school program. I think the concept over all is a good one but with that said I have noticed an increase of kids still being hunngry. Yes kids are always hungry but it seems that it has increased this year. Something I have noticed in…

I am proud of myself for not giving up. I found out today that I am finally out of he 200's. I feel like I can accomplish anything today.

I wear a sports bra that is a size or two smaller because I can't afford the cost for one that would fit. So far it works for me. I am at a 44DD. I don't tend to loose there much with weight loss.
-
The fact you posted this tells me you don't really want to give up. It helps to vent sometimes. It is hard but well worth it. I too have a lot of belly fat, and it can be discouraging. It comes down to how important is it to you. You are the only one who can answer that for your self. If the calorie goal is too hard then…

Hi Kate and welcome. You are more than welcome to add me if you would like. Sheila

I am lucky when it comes to my husband. When we eat out we go some where we can both find what we want. When my husband is home he is the cook of the family. He loves to cook. He will fix my portions a healthier way than his. It's more work but he is very supportive of my efforts. I would suggest talking with your husband…

I have lived in Kentucky for a while now. I was raised in Florida though.

I think it is all about moderation and teaching to eat healthy. I think that you have to find what works for you whether it be counting points or calories. I have been following weight watchers and it works for me. I have lost 57 pounds so far. Other people find more success in counting calories. I think it really comes…

My ultimate goal is anywhere between 150-155. But right now I am looking forward to getting out of the 200's.

I absolutely love zumba. I usually go to zumba class about three times a week and I have had great results in weight loss and inches.

For the most part I try to make healtheir choices, such as more fruit and veggies. I am in it for the lifestyle change. However there are those times that I find that I really want something not necessarily good for me. When that happens I eat a small portion of it and not beat myself up over it. It takes time to make good…

ZombieSidwell Zombie because I am a huge George Romero fan (Night of the living dead trilogy) and Sidwell is my maiden name.

Thank you for sharing this article. While I have heard rude remarks myself about my weight usually the thing that bothers me the most is when they assume you can't do certain things because of the weight. There are times when something physical comes up and the thinnner people are asked to help out, but leave me out…

I am doing weight watcher's currently. I can't afford the meetings either. I love mvp for the extra features and support. I have found with recording my daily log in both the points and calories run really close to the same. I hope this helps.
