Overall I suspect it doesn't matter when you exercise - the great thing is that you do! However, personally I prefer the morning for running and the afternoon for weights. I have the energy first thing in the morning to throw myself out of bed and run well, but if I left it until the end of the day I just couldn't be…

heya everyone! Just checking in as haven't been on the thread for a couple of weeks. I'm on week 8 now and cannot believe how far I have come! I run round a park that has a set distance per loop so I know how far exactly I'm running in the time and at the moment I am running a mile in about just under 9 minutes and today…

I'm now maintaining, and eat back a good portion if not all of my exercise cals. When I first started logging on MFP I didn't and quickly started following the advice of those more knowledgable than me and who had maintained their results ... that I really should be. I lost the weight, never felt like I was 'missing out'…

Hi everyone just checking in again! I love reading how you are all getting on! I completed w5 d 2 this morning - did 8 mins run 1 and then 10 mins run 2 ( I always try and push it a bit on the second run to prep me for the ext step). But, despite this I am still nervous about the 20 mins run on Friday! I'm determined to do…

I have tried them all now - and they are all nice but the blueberry one with the pumpkin seeds is definitely my favourite - angelmoo I think it is! They are lovely, and always seem to be on special offer in one of the supermarkets, so worth checking prices.

I start week 4 tomorrow as well - eeek! Hopefully I will be fine........ I'm getting nervous because I think it all steps up a lot in week 5 - I really think this is more of a mental challenge for me than a physical one actually.

I can't eat fast food like McD's anymore, it actually makes me feel physically sick afterwards (it didn't used to lol). Anything really greasy now is a real no-no for me. Not a bad thing - it makes making the 'right' food choices easier!

hey everyone - glad to see so many peeps are joining in! Completed day 3 of Week 1 this morning (having to go early as its the coolest part of the day at the mo). All going ok at the mo - I know at some point its going to get tough though!
-
I will join you and will start on Sunday too! I will friends request you if that's ok so that I we can keep track together! Hope your race today went well!

Strong arms, masculine hands (go literally gooey at man hands!), brains and a good sense of humour!

I use myprotein.com/uk and its been great. I add a portion to my own homemade smoothie recipes on days I do strength training.

Bumping here too x

Feel free to add me - happy to chat, especially to a fellow shortie! I'm just under 5ft 2, and I know what its like to watch your weight when you are little.
-
I'm on everyday and happy to chat - feel free to add me

I usually wear a thong too (after wearing various variations of the 'knicker' - actually these were the least chafing for me), or I wear nothing but wear good running shorts (you want ones that have wicking material in the gusset - that absorbs moisture  and helps reduce irritation).
-
Bump for later - they sound scrummy!
-
hmmm hadn't looked at that - but just done that and it says maintenance for me is - 1420
-
Well done! You've got it cracked this time

Hiya! I will send you a request. I'm 31 and in Scotland. Good luck!
-
Thanks for sharing! And I think she is spot on.
-
Fabulous! And you look so happy! Well done!
-
Yes! Big difference! Keep on rocking it!

Always and forever - a Cosmopolitan is my cocktail! Otherwise it has to be Champagne or a Gin & Slimline Tonic with lime......but I very rarely drink alcohol. Only on very special occasions - I have always had a low tolerance and like to avoid being a heap on the floor, when everyone else is moving onto their 2nd glass!
-
Wow! That's fabulous! You look fantastic!
-
Not many people know that......I can put my feet behind my head. For some reason there are not enough social occasions where it is acceptable for me to perform this lol!
-
I wear a Shock Absorber with an Elle Sport bra/ short top thingy over the top. Go to a good sports shop and try a few on. Some I couldn't do up on my own or were too uncomfortable etc.

I'm a natural blonde and Scottish = as pasty as they come! I'm au naturel in the winter, but in the summer I use St Tropez. The best smelling one I think and a nice colour.

Bumping!

Well I'm no expert, but I would say you should be eating your bmr as a minimum, because that is what your body needs to function effectively. My goal according to MFP is 1200 ( this is based on wanting to lose 0.5 lb a week), and my BMR is 1160. So, regardless of exercise I always eat that. After that I try and eat back…
